JOB OVERVIEW

We are a Korean family visiting Cebu from September 27 to October 10, 2026. We are looking for a warm, energetic English tutor to spend time with our daughter during our stay in Mactan.

ABOUT OUR DAUGHTER
She is in Grade 3 and reads English at roughly a US Grade 5 level. She understands a lot, but she needs practice speaking naturally and confidently. She is a little shy at first and warms up quickly once she's comfortable.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- 2 to 3 hours of conversational English per day — games, reading, storytelling, everyday conversation. Not textbook drilling.
- Join us for lunch and keep the conversation going in English. Lunch is paid for by us, on top of your salary.
- A big plus (not required): teach her basic swimming at the hotel pool.

SCHEDULE
- Any dates between September 27 and October 10, 2026
- Minimum 7 days of availability required. We prefer someone who can commit to the full period.
- Daytime hours, flexible — we can adjust around your class or work schedule.

LOCATION
Our hotel in Mactan Island, Lapu-Lapu City (exact hotel to be confirmed).
This is an IN-PERSON job. Please do not apply if you are looking for online work or if you are not currently in Cebu.
If you live in Cebu City, that is fine — we cover your Grab fare both ways.

PAY
- PHP 1,400 per day
- PHP 500 per day transportation allowance (covers Grab to and from Mactan)
- Lunch provided on top of the above
- Paid daily in cash at the end of each day, or weekly if you prefer

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Clear, natural spoken English and genuinely comfortable around children
- Patient, cheerful, and high-energy
- Currently a university student or a recent graduate is ideal
- Female applicants, as our daughter is a young girl and you will be spending one-on-one time with her
- Comfortable in the water is a plus
- Currently based in Cebu or Mactan
