Part-Time Shopify Virtual Assistant (UK Hours)
Ecommerce Outdoor Living Brand
I am looking for a reliable, professional and proactive Virtual Assistant based in the Philippines to support my growing UK ecommerce outdoor living business.
This is a part-time role to start, with strong potential to expand into full-time hours as the business grows.
Working Hours & Pay
• Monday to Friday
• 9:00am – 1:00pm UK time
• 20 hours per week
• $3 per hour starting salary

This role is ideal for someone already working in ecommerce who wants consistent UK morning hours and long-term stability.
Customer Communication Is a Core Part of This Role
You must be fully available and responsive during working hours.
A major responsibility of this role is:
• Answering all incoming customer phone calls professionally
• Responding quickly to live chat enquiries (fast response times expected)
• Handling customer questions about deliveries, returns, product details and general support
• Speaking clear, confident English on the phone
• Representing the brand in a calm, helpful and solution-focused way
If you are not comfortable speaking English on the phone daily, this role will not be suitable.
Shopify & Product Management (Essential)
• Strong experience with Shopify
• Upload products at an average speed of 6 products per hour
• Write clear, SEO-friendly product descriptions
• Organise collections, tags, pricing and variants accurately
• Maintain high product data accuracy
• Quality control checks before publishing
Email
• Strong working knowledge of Omnisend
• Write and schedule marketing
• Set up and manage automated flows
• Basic segmentation and performance monitoring

There will be a short English grammar test as part of the application process.
Social Media & Content
• Create and schedule daily social media posts
• Write engaging captions in strong English
• Schedule blog posts
• Suggest marketing ideas and improvements
• Maintain consistent brand tone
Inbox & Admin Management
• Check inbox daily
• Filter
• Forward important supplier or customer
• Remove spam and junk
• Liaise with suppliers when required
• Escalate urgent issues appropriately
During quieter periods, you will focus on uploads, content scheduling, optimisation tasks and store improvements.
Technical Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
• Fast and stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload)
• Backup internet option preferred
• Quiet working environment for phone calls
• Good quality headset and microphone
A screenshot of your internet speed test will be required during application.
