About Trademark Beauty

Trademark Beauty is a growing US-based beauty company specializing in innovative hair tools and accessories. We sell through multiple channels, including Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and national wholesale retailers.

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented bookkeeper who understands the complexities of ecommerce accounting and can take ownership of maintaining accurate, organized, and up-to-date financial records.

Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books in QuickBooks Online
Categorize business transactions regularly
Reconcile bank accounts and business credit cards
Reconcile Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and other ecommerce payouts
Properly account for platform fees, refunds, chargebacks, returns, and payment-processing fees
Maintain accurate inventory and cost-of-goods-sold entries
Track accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist with wholesale invoices, payments, deductions, and outstanding balances
Prepare monthly profit-and-loss statements and balance sheets
Complete the monthly close according to an agreed deadline
Identify discrepancies or unusual transactions and proactively communicate them
Maintain organized supporting records and documentation
Coordinate with our US-based CPA and provide requested reports at tax time
Help improve bookkeeping systems and financial workflows as the company grows
Required Qualifications
At least three years of professional bookkeeping experience
Experience supporting a US-based ecommerce or consumer-products business
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
Experience reconciling Shopify and marketplace payouts
Strong understanding of inventory, COGS, refunds, platform fees, and ecommerce payment processing
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong written and spoken English
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of deadlines
Reliable internet connection and availability for occasional video calls
Able to handle confidential financial information with discretion
Preferred Experience
Amazon Seller Central bookkeeping
TikTok Shop reconciliation
Wholesale or retail-account bookkeeping
A2X or similar ecommerce accounting integrations
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification
Experience working directly with US accountants or CPAs
Compensation and Engagement

This is a remote, part-time independent-contractor position paid on a monthly retainer. The expected starting range is $400–$800 USD per month, depending on experience, capabilities, and the final scope of work.

We are looking for someone interested in building a reliable, long-term working relationship. The scope and retainer will be reviewed after the first 90 days based on the actual workload.

Historical cleanup projects, if needed, will be scoped and compensated separately.
