JOB OVERVIEW

We are a fine jewelry e-commerce business looking for an experienced, organized, and creative Part-Time Virtual Assistant to support our email marketing, Instagram advertising, and Shopify/Etsy stores.
10–15 hours per week | 100% Remote | Starting at $7 USD/hour

Responsibilities

Weekly Newsletters
• Create one weekly newsletter in Mailchimp.
• Birthstone of the Month – Educational and promotional content featuring the month's birthstone.
• Gemstone Storytelling – Engaging stories and information about approximately 2–3 gemstones per newsletter, including origin, characteristics, history, symbolism, and interesting facts.
• Jewelry Styling Ideas – Ways to wear, layer, and combine selected jewelry pieces.
• Holiday & Gift Ideas – Jewelry recommendations for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, milestones, and other occasions.
• Products & Promotions – Highlight selected jewelry pieces, new arrivals, sales, and special promotions.
• Services & Payment Options – Promote custom orders, layaway, Affirm financing, and other available services.
• Select appropriate jewelry and images from our website for each newsletter.
• Create polished and visually appealing layouts consistent with a fine jewelry brand.
• Verify all product information, pricing, links, images, spelling, and formatting.
• Prepare newsletters in English and Spanish. Spanish is desirable but not required; AI may be used for translation.
• All newsletters must be submitted for approval before being sent.

Instagram / Meta Ads
• Create Instagram ads featuring selected jewelry available on our website.
• Create ad copy and visuals using Canva.
• Set up and manage campaigns through Meta Ads Manager.
• Monitor basic campaign performance.

Shopify & Etsy
• Create, edit, and optimize product listings.
• Improve product titles and descriptions for SEO and conversions.
• Research keywords and optimize Etsy tags and attributes.
• Review listings for accuracy, consistency, and opportunities for improvement.

Required Experience
Applicants must have previous hands-on experience with:
• Shopify
• Etsy
• Mailchimp or similar platform
• Instagram / Meta Ads
• Canva or similar platform
• E-commerce SEO and keyword research
• AI tools such as ChatGPT

Excellent written English, strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently are required.
Spanish and previous jewelry/luxury industry experience are desirable but not required.

Compensation
Starting rate: $7 USD/hour, approximately 10–15 hours per week.
This is intended to be a long-term position, with the opportunity to increase up to $12 USD/hour based on performance, reliability, quality of work, and increased responsibility.
