We’re hiring a part-time Customer Support & Ops VA to run our daily support queue inside Richpanel, keep our support system clean, and help us turn repeat issues into simple processes.
This is a hands-on role for someone who’s already supported a DTC brand and can confidently work inside Richpanel + Shopify (and ideally ShipStation).
What You’ll Do (Daily + Weekly)
1) Customer Support (Richpanel)
- Monitor and respond to inbound tickets
- Escalate issues to the right person when required
- Keep ticket handling fast, accurate, and calm—even when customers aren’t
2) Tags, Macros, and System Cleanup
- Create and maintain tags to categorize ticket types
- Build and refine saved replies/macros for recurring issues
- Improve automations and routing logic so the queue gets easier every week
3) Returns, Shipping, and Order Fixes
- Handle returns/exchanges using our return portal process
- Resolve “Where is my order?” tickets by checking fulfillment status and sending tracking details
- Process address change requests in Shopify (and ShipStation when needed)
- Handle “Delivered but not received” cases using the correct workflow and templates
- Make simple Shopify updates: order edits, customer records, tags, shipping issues
4) Reporting (Weekly)
- Build a weekly Richpanel report showing: total ticket volume, top ticket types, and trends (what increased/decreased)
- Propose fixes for recurring issues (new macro, better tag logic, SOP updates)
You’re a Great Fit If…
- You’ve supported a DTC/ecommerce brand using Richpanel + Shopify before
- You’re organized, responsive, and can work independently without constant direction
- You naturally look for improvements (you don’t just “answer tickets”—you reduce future tickets)
- You can coordinate returns/logistics/reships and follow SOPs accurately
- You’re comfortable getting on a quick call when a situation needs it
- You can reliably work PST mornings (8am–12pm) / 20hrs a week part time
Not a Fit If…
- You’ve never worked ecommerce support (Shopify workflows are new to you)
- You’ve never used Richpanel (or you only “touched it once”)
- You prefer being told every step and don’t take ownership
- You avoid process building, tagging, documentation, or reporting

- First response times are fast and consistent during your shift
- Tickets are correctly tagged, routed, and resolved without repeated back-and-forth
- The macro library grows and improves weekly
- We see fewer repeat issues because you help build better systems
