JOB OVERVIEW

About Us
We are a growing US-based janitorial services company doing several million dollars per year. We are stable, profitable, and growing.
We are looking for a highly responsible, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to take full ownership of our bookkeeping, payroll, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.
This is NOT a basic data entry role.
This role protects company cash flow and ensures we never overpay vendors or contractors.
We want someone who takes pride in accuracy and accountability.

Responsibilities
You will be fully responsible for:
• Accounts Receivable (Collections and follow-up)
• Monitoring overdue invoices and ensuring payment
• Accounts Payable (ensuring no unnecessary or duplicate payments)
• Reviewing contractor billing for overcharges
• Payroll processing (employees + contractors)
• Weekly cash flow report
• Tracking Purchase Orders (POs) and job expenses
• Budget monitoring
• Contractor compliance tracking
• Preparing monthly financial reports
• Making sure the company does not lose money due to errors
You will report directly to the owner.

Required Experience
• 3+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Experience with US clients
• Experience handling payroll
• Experience managing Accounts Receivable collections
• Experience reviewing vendor or contractor billing
• Experience with QuickBooks (required)
• Strong Excel skills
Bonus:
• Experience in service-based companies
• Experience tracking job-level costs
