Paralegal — Judgment Collections
About us
We're Judgment Business Incubator (JBI) — a New York company that helps people start and run their own judgment enforcement businesses. We've been doing this for over 10 years and we're really good at it.

What we're looking for
We're looking for a paralegal who knows New York judgment collections inside and out and can hit the ground running. Here's what matters to us:

1 You understand NY judgment collections
Restraining notices, information subpoenas, income executions, docketing — you know the process and don't need it explained to you.

2 You're extremely organized
Multiple cases, multiple deadlines, lots of moving parts — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.

3. You can handle discovery and research
Reviewing subpoena responses, digging through bank records, tracking down assets — you're comfortable doing the investigative work a collections case requires.

4. You're great with people
You'll be working with our clients and team every day. Being friendly, clear, and easy to talk to goes a long way here.

5. Strong administrative skills
Drafting correspondence, managing files, staying on top of follow-ups — the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running smoothly.
