We're hiring a color-obsessed creative to build palettes and visual
content for Paint Color Labs, a paint color visualizer at
room and see it in real paint colors from Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin
Moore, Behr, Valspar, PPG, and Farrow & Ball.
You'll use the tool daily to build color schemes and turn them into
content people save and share.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build paint color schemes using our database of 12,910 real colors
from six brands
- Create room renders in our visualizer showing those schemes in real
spaces
- Design Pinterest pins, Instagram posts, and
those palettes
- Write short blog posts comparing popular paint colors and explaining
color topics homeowners search for
- Track which palettes and posts perform, and make more of what works
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong eye for color. This is the core requirement. You should be
able to look at two grays and articulate why one works in a room and
the other doesn't
- Comfortable in Canva or Figma
- Clear written English. You'll be writing for American homeowners
- Self-directed. You'll get direction and a content calendar, not
daily supervision
- Interest in interior design, paint, or home decor
NICE TO HAVE
- Pinterest experience, especially building a board from zero
- Familiarity with Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, or Behr color names
- Basic photo editing
- Any background in interior design, staging, or architecture
DETAILS
- Fully remote
- [X] hours per week
- [$X] per hour or [$X] per month
- Overlap with US Eastern time not required, but you should be
reachable within a business day
- Start part-time with room to grow if it's working
HOW TO APPLY
Send:
1. Three examples of visual work you've made. Social graphics,
moodboards, or design work. Real projects, not course exercises
2. Pick any room photo, real or from Unsplash, and describe in a short
paragraph what paint colors you'd choose for it and why. You don't
need to render it. We want to see how you think about color
3. One sentence on why this work interests you
Applications without item 2 won't be reviewed.
