Nursery Stickers is a fast-growing ecommerce business helping parents create beautiful nurseries, bedrooms and playrooms without the cost, disruption or permanence of traditional decorating.
Our removable wall stickers and furniture decals allow parents to transform a room quickly, affordably and with minimal DIY.
We are growing aggressively and invest a meaningful monthly budget across Meta and Google. We are now looking for an experienced Paid Media Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day execution, monitoring and optimisation of these accounts, working closely with and receiving strategic direction from our Head of Growth.
The role
This is a hands-on execution role for someone who enjoys being deep in paid media accounts and close to the detail.
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activity across Meta, Google and TikTok, implementing the strategy set by our Head of Growth and ensuring campaigns are built, monitored and optimised to a consistently high standard.
You will monitor performance daily, identify meaningful changes and respond appropriately. We need someone who can act quickly when there is a genuine issue, without overreacting to normal day-to-day volatility.
The role requires a balance of reactive account management and proactive execution. Alongside monitoring performance, you will launch tests, identify account-level opportunities, maintain campaign hygiene and ensure agreed actions are delivered without needing constant follow-up.
While the overall growth strategy, budget framework and commercial targets will be led by the Head of Growth, we want someone who is confident contributing observations, challenging assumptions and recommending improvements based on what they are seeing within the accounts.
Key responsibilities
Meta and Google account management
- Manage the day-to-day execution and optimisation of our Meta and Google advertising accounts.
- Implement campaign strategies, testing plans and budget direction agreed with the Head of Growth.
- Monitor account performance daily and flag meaningful risks, changes and opportunities.
- Build, launch and manage campaigns, ad sets, adverts and Google Ads activity.
- Manage budgets and pacing in line with agreed targets and commercial parameters.
- Optimise campaigns based on new customer acquisition, efficiency and profitability targets.
- Maintain clear and logical campaign structures across both platforms.
- Monitor product feeds, tracking, account errors and other operational issues that could affect performance.
- Conduct regular search-term, audience, placement and campaign-level analysis.
- Ensure promotions, new product launches and creative tests are implemented accurately and on time.
- Maintain strong account hygiene, naming conventions and documentation.
- Escalate material performance issues quickly, with a clear diagnosis and recommended action.
Performance monitoring and analysis
- Review performance across Meta, Google, Shopify and relevant reporting platforms.
- Track performance against agreed nCPA (new customer acquisition cost), spend and revenue targets.
- Look beyond platform-reported return on ad spend and consider blended business performance.
- Identify trends across campaigns, products, audiences, placements and creative.
- Distinguish between normal volatility and changes that require intervention.
- Produce concise, commercially useful reporting rather than simply presenting platform data.
- Explain what has changed, why it may have changed and what action should be taken.
- Support forecasting and budget pacing with accurate account-level information.
Creative execution and insight
- Manage the implementation of creative testing plans across Meta.
- Analyse which creative concepts, hooks, formats, products and messages are performing.
- Feed clear creative insights back to the Head of Growth and wider creative team.
- Identify gaps in the creative pipeline based on performance within the accounts.
- Contribute practical recommendations for new iterations and testing opportunities.
- Ensure creative tests are structured clearly enough to generate useful learnings.
- Support the preparation of performance-led creative briefs where required.
- Maintain a clear record of creative tests, results and key findings.
Collaboration and communication
- Work closely with the founder and Head of Growth, who will set the overarching paid media and growth strategy.
- Provide regular updates on performance, actions taken, risks and emerging opportunities.
- Translate strategic direction into accurate and timely account execution.
- Bring considered recommendations rather than waiting to be told every individual action.
- Collaborate with the founder, creative team and external partners when required.
- Participate in wider performance and growth discussions, while remaining focused on excellent paid media execution.
What we are looking for
- Strong hands-on experience managing Meta and Google advertising for ecommerce brands.
- Experience working with meaningful monthly advertising budgets.
- A detailed understanding of campaign setup, optimisation, bidding, budgets, audiences and account structure.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with performance data.
- A good understanding of ecommerce metrics, including nCPA, customer acquisition cost, return on ad spend, average order value and conversion rate.
- Comfortable working directly inside advertising accounts every day.
- Able to follow strategic direction while also thinking independently.
- Proactive and highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
- Able to identify and communicate issues before they become significant.
- Calm and commercially minded when performance fluctuates.
- Strong written communication and the ability to explain performance clearly.
- A good eye for paid social creative and an understanding of what makes effective performance advertising.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led ecommerce business.
- Accountable, responsive and reliable in following through on agreed actions.
Experience with consumer, interiors, parenting, home or lifestyle ecommerce brands would be beneficial, but is not essential.
What this role is not
This is not a purely strategic or advisory position.
The successful candidate will be expected to work directly within the Meta and Google accounts, execute agreed plans, monitor performance regularly and take ownership of the quality of day-to-day account management.
What success looks like
- Meta and Google accounts are monitored and managed consistently.
- Campaigns, promotions and tests are launched accurately and on time.
- Budgets remain appropriately paced against agreed targets.
- Performance issues are identified and escalated quickly.
- Optimisation decisions are thoughtful, data-led and commercially grounded.
- The accounts remain organised, technically sound and easy to understand.
- Reporting is concise, accurate and focused on actions and outcomes.
- Creative testing is implemented methodically and generates useful learnings.
- The Head of Growth has confidence that agreed strategies will be executed without needing to oversee every account-level action.
- The Paid Media Manager contributes useful observations while remaining focused on operational excellence.
Working arrangement
This is a flexible part-time or fractional role, with the exact number of hours and working pattern open for discussion.
However, because the role includes daily monitoring, the hours will need to be distributed across the week rather than completed in one isolated block.
The Paid Media Manager will report to and work closely with our Head of Growth, with regular communication around performance, priorities and upcoming activity.
