The Role (Mission)

We are hiring a Paid Media Manager to take ownership of our paid advertising performance across multiple digital platforms.

Your role is simple in principle, but critical in impact:
Maximise return on investment (ROI) by generating the highest quality leads, at the lowest sustainable acquisition cost, whilst continually increasing revenue from paid media.

You will be responsible for planning, launching, optimising and scaling paid campaigns across multiple advertising platforms. Every decision you make should be commercially driven, backed by data and focused on improving business performance.

You'll work closely with our external growth strategy partner, internal marketing team, Brand & Content Manager and creative team to ensure every campaign is continually improving and delivering measurable results.

What Success Looks Like (Outcomes)

In this role, your success will be measured by your ability to:
• Maximise Return on Investment (ROI) across all paid advertising
• Increase revenue generated from paid media campaigns
• Improve Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
• Reduce Cost Per Lead (CPL) whilst maintaining or improving lead quality
• Increase the volume of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
• Allocate advertising budgets to the highest-performing campaigns
• Make fast, data-driven optimisation decisions
• Identify underperforming campaigns early and either improve or confidently stop them
• Continuously improve campaign performance through structured testing
• Scale profitable campaigns whilst maintaining efficiency
• Ensure accurate tracking, attribution and reporting across all platforms
This is not a "launch campaigns and hope for the best" role - you are measured on revenue, ROI and commercial impact.

What You'll Be Doing

You will take ownership of paid media across the full funnel:
Awareness ? Lead ? Conversion
Your responsibilities will include:
• Building, launching and managing paid campaigns across:
o Google Ads
o Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
o LinkedIn
o TikTok
o Reddit
o Other relevant advertising platforms
• Managing advertising budgets to maximise efficiency and return on investment
• Taking full ownership of campaign profitability and commercial performance
• Continuously monitoring campaign performance and making data-driven optimisation decisions
• Running structured A/B testing across:
o Creative
o Headlines
o Copy
o Audiences
o Campaign structures
o Landing pages
o Offers
• Knowing when to optimise campaigns and when to confidently stop underperforming campaigns to protect advertising spend
• Reallocating budgets towards the highest-performing campaigns and audiences
• Working closely with the Brand & Content Manager to:
o Develop high-converting ad copy
o Improve messaging based on campaign performance
• Collaborating with the creative team to ensure advertising assets are produced in the correct formats for each platform
• Working alongside our external growth strategy partner to execute campaign strategy and continuously improve results
• Analysing the complete customer journey from click through to revenue generated
• Monitoring competitor advertising, emerging trends, AI developments and platform updates to ensure we remain ahead of the market
• Producing meaningful reporting that explains not only what happened, but why it happened and what should happen next
• Working closely with the wider marketing and sales teams to understand lead quality, customer acquisition costs and revenue generated from campaigns
• Making recommendations based on commercial outcomes rather than vanity metrics

What We're Looking For

Experience (Non-Negotiable)
• 5+ years' experience managing paid media campaigns
• Proven experience managing paid advertising budgets

• Experience working alongside creative teams to improve advertising performance
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

How You Think (Competencies)

• Is obsessed with improving ROI rather than simply increasing traffic
• Makes confident decisions based on data, not opinions
• Understands that lead quality is more important than lead volume
• Knows when to continue testing and when to stop wasting budget
• Constantly asks:

"If we invest another £1,000, how much revenue will it generate?"

Why This Role Matters
Paid media is one of the biggest drivers of growth in our business.
This role sits at the centre of how we:
• Generate qualified leads
• Scale revenue
• Maximise profitability

We are not looking for someone to simply run ads - we are looking for someone who understands the commercial impact of every decision they make and is relentless in improving return on investment.

Final Thought
If you're the kind of person who looks at a campaign and asks: "How can I generate more revenue whilst spending less?"
If you thrive on analysing data, making commercial decisions and continuously improving performance - You'll fit well here.

To help us get to know you beyond your CV, we'd like you to submit a short video as part of your application.

Please record a 2–3 minute video speaking directly to the camera covering:

Your experience managing paid media campaigns and advertising budgets.
Why you believe you're a great fit for this role.
A paid media campaign you're particularly proud of, including the objective, your approach, and the results it achieved.

This helps us assess your communication skills, commercial thinking, confidence, and ability to clearly explain your decision-making—qualities that are essential for this role.

Applications submitted without a video introduction will not be considered.

We look forward to hearing from you.
