**About Man Cereal**
Man Cereal is a Los Angeles-based startup and the world's first creatine-infused cereal — high protein, zero sugar, and built around real nutritional substance. We're a small, fast-moving team building a brand from the ground up and we need a sharp paid media buyer to help us grow.
---
**The Role**
We're looking for a part-time paid media buyer to own our Meta and Google ad accounts. This is not a set-it-and-forget-it role. We want someone who is proactive, data-driven, and genuinely curious about why ads work — not just someone who can push buttons.
You'll work directly with the founders and have real ownership over performance.
---
**What You'll Do**
- Manage and optimize campaigns across Meta
- Monitor daily performance and flag issues before they become problems
- Make budget reallocation decisions based on data
- Write and suggest ad copy and creative briefs in collaboration with the team
- Send a weekly performance report with clear takeaways and recommendations
- Stay current on platform changes, trends, and what's working in the DTC space
---
**What We're Looking For**
- 4+ years managing paid media on Meta and Google (DTC or CPG experience is a big plus)
- Strong grasp of core metrics — ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPM — and what they actually mean
- Someone who can think beyond the dashboard and connect creative decisions to performance
- Clear written and spoken English communication
- Reliable, responsive, and able to work with US-based founders (some overlap in hours required)
- Bonus: experience with a early-stage or startup brand
---
**What This Is Not**
- This is not an agency role — you'll be working directly with the brand
- This is not a passive role — we expect initiative, not just execution
- This is not a good fit if you need a lot of hand-holding
---
**How to Apply**
To be considered, please include the following in your application:
1. A brief summary of your paid media experience and the brands you've worked with
2. Your best result — a specific campaign or win you're proud of and the numbers behind it
3. Confirmation that you're comfortable completing a short paid test project (2–3 hours) as part of the interview process
Applications without all three will not be reviewed.
