JOB OVERVIEW

I’m Hiring!

Type: Fully Remote
Rate: Up to $12/hour, depending on experience (USD, paid twice a month)
Position: Paid Ads & Performance Marketing Manager (ECOMMERCE)
Schedule: Australian Business Hours (approx. 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM PH time)

Need someone to own paid media strategy and execution for an established, dermatologist-founded skincare brand selling direct to consumer in Australia. You’ll run Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, TikTok, and Amazon ads, diagnose what’s missing in the current funnel, and drive D2C growth on an annual ad budget of roughly AUD 500K. This is a dedicated in-house role replacing an agency setup. You run the accounts yourself, direct the strategy, and brief an in-house designer on the creative you need. You won’t be producing creative yourself. Own it end to end; no babysitting here.

Key Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience running paid ads for consumer e-commerce or D2C brands (beauty, skincare, wellness, or personal care experience is a huge plus).
Deep, hands-on Meta Ads expertise (non-negotiable). You build, manage, and optimise the campaigns yourself, with a proven track record of scaling a brand.
Experience with Google, TikTok, Amazon, or emerging AI ad platforms is a strong plus. A fast-learning mindset counts if you haven’t run all of them yet.
In-house experience managing paid ads at an e-commerce brand with a similar monthly spend (about AUD 40K/month) is strongly preferred over agency-only experience.
Strategic, funnel-first thinking: you can audit an account, spot the gaps (retargeting, funnel mix, upper vs. lower funnel balance), and d ---------- what needs to change.
Data-driven and growth-minded: you track real business outcomes (new customer acquisition, CAC, MER, contribution) beyond in-platform ROAS.
Comfortable completing a short homework assignment: a mini audit of current paid ads performance.

(Note: This role is paid ads only. SEO and GEO are handled separately. We are specifically looking for hands-on paid media operators. SEO specialists, social media or content planners, lead gen or B2B specialists, and directors who delegate account management will not be considered.)

How to Apply
SEND THE FOLLOWING:

Your resume detailing your hands-on Meta Ads and e-commerce background, including the brands, verticals, and monthly budgets you’ve managed.
A portfolio or case studies showing campaign performance, account structures, or growth results (spend, ROAS, CAC, and revenue impact).
A 1 to 2 minute Loom video introducing yourself, sharing the largest monthly ad budget you’ve personally owned, and explaining how you’d diagnose a D2C brand’s paid ads account in your first two weeks.
