JOB OVERVIEW

We are actively hiring a Packaging Graphic Designer with experience in custom packaging and dieline creation. This role focuses on designing retail-ready, print-ready packaging for products such as Mylar bags, display boxes, and other consumer packaging formats.

You must understand both creative design and manufacturing requirements—this is not just graphic design, this is production-level packaging design.

Key Responsibilities
• Design custom packaging (Mylar bags, pouches, display boxes, labels)
• Create and work within dielines for accurate print production (REQUIRED)
• Prepare print-ready files (bleed, trim, safe zones, CMYK)
• Coordinate with manufacturers to ensure packaging is production-ready
• Create mockups and 3D previews for approvals and marketing
• Maintain brand consistency across all packaging SKUs
• Handle multiple packaging sizes (3x3, 4x6, display boxes, etc.)
• Implement required labeling, barcode placement, and compliance elements
• Revise designs quickly based on feedback

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills
• Strong proficiency in:
• Adobe Illustrator (REQUIRED)
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe InDesign (preferred)
• Dieline design experience (REQUIRED)
• Understanding of print production (CMYK, Pantone, bleeds)
• Ability to deliver manufacturer-ready files
• Experience with flexible packaging and box packaging

Design & Creative Skills
• Strong branding and layout skills
• Ability to create eye-catching, high-converting retail packaging
• Knowledge of typography, spacing, and color psychology
• Ability to follow and improve brand guidelines

Experience Requirements
• Minimum 2+ years packaging design experience
• Proven portfolio with:
• Packaging designs
• Dieline work
• Print-ready files
• Experience working with manufacturers or print vendors

Compensation
• $3.00 per hour during first 90 days (probationary period)
• Performance review after 90 days with opportunity for:
• Pay increase
• Long-term position
• Performance bonuses based on output and quality
