The role is for an experienced book keeper to come in and take over the handling of our accounts & book keeping. You must be responsible, well organised and able to work under pressure.

Flexible hours & days according to your own schedule. 12 hours per week FT

Small, rapidly growing company is looking for a bookkeeper/accounts assistant to join our team.

Your key responsibilities will be:-

• Credit control, debt collection

• Monthly bookkeeping for a portfolio companies

• Preparation of VAT returns

• Produce some reports and management accounts at month end

• Production of annual bookkeeping/ accounts & reports with excel

• Reconcile payments and bank transfers and credit cards

• Arrange supplier payments & purchase ledger

• Payroll & time sheets

• Process card payments and card refunds

• Post invoices & ledgers

•Gather & produce a small number of invoices to cover accounting entries between companies



The successful candidate will probably have had experience in a similar role.

Key skills:

• An accountancy/ bookkeeping qualification, or be able to demonstrate competence in bookkeeping (QBO)

• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice would be preferable

• Experience of working with both sole trader and limited company clients

• Experience of online bookkeeping packages preferable
