JOB OVERVIEW

We are launching a new global beauty membership platform created for solo professionals and small salons. Our mission is to build an international community where beauty experts can connect, share resources, and access unique opportunities to grow their businesses.

We’re seeking an experienced PR & Communications Specialist with a background in the beauty to lead our international PR efforts.

This person will help position our brand in the US, UK and beyond, securing media coverage, building brand awareness, and growing our presence within the industry.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the beauty industry, has strong media contacts, and can make a brand stand out in competitive markets.

Responsibilities
Story Development, Shape compelling PR narratives that resonate with beauty professionals and trade editors.

Media Outreach, Build and manage targeted media lists for beauty editors, salon trade magazines, podcasts, and influencers in key markets.

Press Materials , Create press releases, media kits, and editor bios.

Pitching , Reach out to editors and journalists to secure media placements.

Influencer & Ambassador Outreach, Identify and connect with relevant industry influencers and professionals.

Event & Award Opportunities , Research opportunities to feature our brand at industry events or awards.

Reporting , Provide monthly updates on activities, placements, and outcomes.

Requirements
PR/communications experience in the beauty industry.

Proven track record securing placements in beauty trade or lifestyle publications.

Existing relationships with US and UK beauty editors is highly desirable.

Strong writing and communication skills.

Ability to pitch proactively with creative story ideas.

Strategic thinker with the ability to work independently.

Bonus is
Experience in international PR campaigns.

Connections with beauty influencers, educators, or salon groups.

Knowledge of beauty industry events and awards.
