We’re hiring a data-driven PPC strategist to manage and grow Amazon Advertising across two consumer product brands (Premium Mixology and Sports Compression Apparel). Combined monthly ad spend exceeds $100,000 across US, UK, and Canada.
Here’s what makes this different: we’re not looking for someone who already knows everything about Amazon Ads. We’re looking for someone who is exceptionally strong with data and has proven PPC experience on other platforms — e.g. Google Ads, Meta Ads, or similar — and wants to apply that analytical firepower to Amazon’s advertising ecosystem.
Amazon PPC has its own mechanics (keyword harvesting, match types, ASIN targeting, placement bidding), but the underlying logic — auction-based bidding, ROAS optimisation, audience targeting, creative testing — will be familiar to you. We’ll invest in training you on the Amazon-specific elements. What we can’t train is the ability to look at a data set and connect the dots that others miss.
You'll work closely with a high-level, PH-based team of 7, with regular collaboration with our Analytics Engineer, Creative Director, and Head of Operations.
** What You’ll Do **
- Learn and master Amazon Advertising across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display during a structured onboarding (with support from the wider team).
- Apply your analytical skills to campaign performance data. Identifying patterns, testing hypotheses, and making data-backed decisions about where to invest and where to cut.
- Think beyond the ad platform. You’ll connect advertising performance to pricing strategy, inventory levels, organic ranking trends, and profitability. The goal is commercially intelligent advertising, not just good ROAS numbers.
- Build and maintain reporting using Power BI, Google Sheets, and custom dashboards. You’ll collaborate with our Analytics Engineer on data pipelines, but you need to be self-sufficient in pulling and analysing data.
- Develop strategic advertising plans aligned with business goals, such as product launches, seasonal pushes, profit targets, or market expansion.
- Progressively automate repetitive tasks. We want someone who naturally thinks “how can I do this faster and smarter?” and is excited about leveraging AI and automation tools over time.
** Must-Have Skills **
- 2+ years of hands-on PPC management experience on Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, or another major platform, managing meaningful budgets (equivalent of $20k+/month).
- Proven analytical ability: you can work with large data sets, build pivot tables, use advanced spreadsheet functions (INDEX-MATCH, VLOOKUP, array formulas), and draw actionable conclusions fro
- A track record of strategic thinking in PPC: you can explain your decision-making framework, not just the buttons you pressed.
- Comfort with or a strong interest in learning new ad platforms quickly. You’ll be trained on Amazon Ads, but the speed of your ramp-up depends on your curiosity and desire to learn.
- Understanding of auction-based bidding, ROAS/CPA optimisation, and conversion funnel analysis.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English.
- Philippines-based. Available to work full-time and dedicate 100% of your working hours to this role.
- Background in mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, engineering, or a quantitative discipline from a reputable Philippine university.
** Nice-to-Haves **
(Not required, but great if you have, or are eager to learn):
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio) or data analysis beyond spreadsheets.
- Any exposure to Amazon Advertising, even if limited (e.g., helped a brand run basic Sponsored Products campaigns).
- Experience with e-commerce businesses, marketplace models, or DTC brands.
- Interest in or experience with scripting (Python, Google Apps Script), API integrations, or AI/automation tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, etc).
**What We Offer**
- $2,000–$2,500/month (PHP 120,000–150,000), DOE and assessment performance, with growth potential as you skill up.
- A structured onboarding programme to get you up to speed on Amazon Advertising, supported by a handover from the outgoing PPC Manager.
- Fully remote role with flexible hours (core overlap with the team required).
- A dedicated, single-portfolio role. You work on two brands, deeply. No client juggling.
- A team that invests in data infrastructure (BigQuery Database, Power BI, Amazon API integrations). You won’t be flying blind with our high-level team.
- Real strategic ownership with accountability - no micro-managing. We want someone who shapes the direction. Your performance gets seen. Your voice matters.
- Growth path into Amazon PPC mastery and AI-assisted campaign management.
- HMO, 13th-month pay, and paid leave (details confirmed at offer stage).
** Why This Might Be the Right Move for You **
If you’re a sharp PPC professional on Google or Meta but feel you’ve hit a ceiling, Amazon Advertising is a mature yet continually evolving ad platform. The skills are highly transferable, the demand for strategic Amazon PPC talent far outstrips supply, and mastering it now positions you at the cutting edge of e-commerce advertising.
We’ll invest in your transition. In return, we’re looking for someone who’s genuinely excited about learning the ecosystem and committing to growing with us.
** Who This Role Isn’t For **
- If you’re currently managing multiple freelance clients and looking to add another, stop reading. We demand 100% dedication.
- If your PPC strategy is just ROAS-based bid adjustments and negative keywords, this isn't for you. We need deep, strategic thinkers.
- If you’re not interested in learning a new platform from the ground up, move on. This role requires genuine curiosity and commitment to mastering Amazon Ads.
