Primary Role:
• Property & Tenant Liability Insurance – Request quotes, enroll/renew policies, and process and monitor Property Insurance requirements; monitor and enforce Tenant Liability Insurance compliance for commercial tenants
Other Major Responsibilities:
• Rent Collections – monitor the application of tenant rent collections to respective properties and record rent collections when received.
• Accounts Payable – oversee the recording and paying property & corporate invoices
• Accounts Receivable –monitor cash collections and collection of rents.
• Bank Reconciliations – supervise & assist with performing monthly bank statement reconciliations
• Banking & Cash Management – supervise & assist with monitoring property cash balances, bank fees/charges, establish new bank accounts and making bank deposits
• General Ledger – monitor the accuracy recording property and corporate transactions to multiple entity general ledgers.
• Real Estate Property Tax and Business Tax – monitor schedules of real estate property taxes and business taxes
• Insurance Schedules – monitor schedule of property insurance
• Monthly Reporting/Financial Statements – Assist with preparing monthly reporting for properties and with monthly budget variance analysis.
• Compliance Reporting – assist with preparation of quarterly/annual lender compliance reporting requirements
• Property Budgets – Assist with preparing annual and interim property budgets.
• Audits & Tax Return Preparation – monitor annual audits and entity tax return preparation.
• CAM Reconciliations – Assist with preparation of Common Area Maintenance reconciliations.
• Client Relations – communicate with clients and handle any accounting-related requests or concerns they may have and assist company owner in accounting report presentations during meetings with existing and potential clients if needed.
• Other related duties as necessary
Technical Skills
• Appfolio experience is required
• Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Quickbooks experience preferred, but not required
• Knows how to use Google Cloud platform and other similar technology
******This is a full-time work-from-home position for a growing company based in Los Angeles, CA.******

- Desktop Computer: at least Core i3 Processor with 4GB RAM/higher)
- Good headset with noise cancellation feature
- Reliable Webcam
- Quiet work space with neutral background for regular video calls
- Back-up system and connections (can be obtained before end of 90-day probation)
Work Schedule:
Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm Pacific Time
2 x 15-min 'paid' breaks, 1 x 1-hour 'unpaid' lunch break
This is a FULL-TIME role and requires your full availability (working and in front of your computer, answering messages and calls asap) DURING WORK HOURS.
