We are seeking a highly skilled PCB Engineering Specialist to support our global customers with technical expertise, engineering analysis, and manufacturing guidance. This role is fully remote and ideal for an experienced PCB engineer who can work independently while collaborating closely with our production and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Technical Support
Review and analyze customer Gerber files, stack-ups, drawings, and specifications.
Provide DFM (Design for Manufacturability) feedback and propose engineering improvements.
Work directly with customers to answer technical questions and resolve design or manufacturability issues.
Handle technical reviews for RFQs, including material selection, layer structures, tolerances, and special processes.
Production Coordination
Work with factory CAM and engineering teams to ensure accurate interpretation of customer requirements.
Support engineering approvals, tooling instructions, and pre-production checks.
Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during production and recommend corrective actions.
Documentation & Quality
Prepare engineering reports, guidelines, and technical documentation.
Ensure all projects meet IPC standards and internal quality requirements.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on engineering efficiency and product quality.
Customer Communication
Communicate clearly with customers in English through
Support sales teams with technical explanations and pre-sales engineering input.
Build strong relationships by providing fast, accurate, and professional engineering support.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of hands-on PCB engineering experience in manufacturing or CAM/DFM.
Solid understanding of PCB technologies: multilayer, HDI, rigid-flex, impedance control, materials, surface finishes, tolerances, etc.
Strong command of English (written and spoken) for international communication.
Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-6012, IPC-A-600, etc.).
Experience with CAM or engineering tools (Genesis, CAM350, Altium, KiCad, or similar).
Ability to work independently from a home office and manage tasks efficiently.
Preferred Skills
Experience with advanced technologies such as HDI, high-speed, or RF boards.
Knowledge of stack-up design, impedance calculation software, or material databases.
Background in PCBA processes is a plus.
