JOB OVERVIEW

We're not looking for someone who knows a little about everything. We're looking for someone who can look at an ad account, a keyword list, or a content gap—and immediately know what's wrong and how to fix it.

-

We're a small, focused marketing agency that manages campaigns and digital presence for a select portfolio of products and personal brands. We move fast, care deeply about results, and treat our partners like long-term relationships—not revolving contracts.

Right now we need a paid search and SEO generalist who can own strategy AND execution. Someone who's worked across multiple platforms, can write compelling ad copy and deliver strategy beyond what we see without being asked twice, and genuinely geeks out on attribution, algorithm updates, and what's coming next in AI-driven search.

-----------

Read This Before You Apply

This role is NOT for you if:
• You need hand-holding to set up a Google Ads campaign or structure a keyword matrix
• You've never managed a real budget (not just boosted posts)
• You struggle to write clean, persuasive copy
• You rely on one platform and call yourself a "strategist"
• You treat SEO as a set-it-and-forget checklist

This IS for you if:
• You've built PPC campaigns from scratch and have the ROAS to prove it
• You understand the difference between navigational, informational, and transactional intent—and build content and ads accordingly
• You follow algorithm updates and AI search developments obsessively
• You've worked on Pinterest as an ad or organic channel (huge bonus—tell us everything)
• You write well. Really well. Not just functional copy—but writing that sounds like a person, not a prompt

Listen, somewhere in your application form, use the phrase "search-first" so we know you actually read this post. Applications that skip this will be filtered out automatically. Tip: Put it in quotes and call it out so it stands out.

-----------

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Paid Search (PPC / SEM)
• Build, manage, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Microsoft/Bing Ads
• Conduct keyword research, write ad copy, and structure campaigns for both brand and non-brand terms
• Own A/B testing: headlines, descriptions, landing page angles, bidding strategies
• Monitor and report on core KPIs: CTR, CPC, ROAS, conversion rate, Quality Score
• Identify budget allocation inefficiencies and proactively recommend shifts

SEO & Content Strategy
• Conduct full technical SEO audits and prioritize fixes by impact
• Build keyword strategies tied to funnel stages—not just volume
• Guide or write optimized content briefs; improve on-page metadata, structure, and internal linking
• Track rankings, organic traffic, and SERP feature wins/losses week-over-week
• Coordinate with WordPress/Elementor web team on on-page implementations

AiSEO / GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
• Stay current on how LLM-driven answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) cite and surface content
• Apply GEO tactics: structured data, entity-first content, authoritative sourcing, answer optimization
• Advise on brand visibility in AI-generated search results and knowledge panels

Pinterest Marketing & Optimization (Initial Priority Project)
• Build and manage Pinterest Ads campaigns—awareness through conversion
• Develop organic Pinterest strategy: board architecture, pin cadence, keyword-rich descriptions
• Understand how Pinterest's search algorithm differs from Google—and exploit those differences
• Design or brief visual assets that perform (you don't need to design them, but you need to know what converts)
• Analyze Pinterest Analytics and report on reach, saves, link clicks, and attributed conversions

Strategy & Reporting
• Deliver concise weekly performance reports with insights—not just data dumps
• Propose quarterly channel strategies tied to business objectives
• Flag opportunities and threats proactively—we don't want to hear about problems after the fact

Core Competency Requirements

Here's what we expect you to have genuine proficiency in. Be honest with yourself—and honest on the application. We verify skills during our paid test project.

Required Platforms & Skills:
• Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max)
• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — not Universal Analytics
• Google Search Console
• Meta Ads Manager (Facebook + Instagram)
• SEO toolset proficiency: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Surfer SEO
• Technical SEO: crawl analysis, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, robots.txt, sitemaps
• Keyword research and clustering methodology
• Copywriting: ad copy, headlines, CTAs, and long-form content
• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive)—this is our baseline operating system

Strong Bonus Areas (tell us what applies):
• Pinterest Ads & organic strategy — this is a near-requirement for our first major project
• Microsoft/Bing Ads
• YouTube Ads
• AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, etc.) used as a workflow accelerator—not a replacement for judgment
• AiSEO / GEO content tactics
• WordPress + Elementor content publishing
• E-commerce or DTC brand experience

Who We're Looking to Align With

Our budget is honest—entry-to-mid level pay with real upside. What we offer in exchange is training investment, meaningful campaigns, and a long-term seat at the table if you're the type who grows with the work.

Strong fits include:
• A freelance PPC specialist or SEO consultant looking for a stable, ongoing retainer-style engagement
• A digital marketing generalist from an agency background who can run channels independently
• A Pinterest-fluent marketer who also understands the broader paid/organic ecosystem
• A strong writer first who has built up paid and organic search skills over time
• Someone between gigs or in a career pivot who wants to prove their value at a lower initial rate—then grow into something bigger

-----------

Requirements

• Reliable computer with stable, fast internet connection
• Available for video calls 2–3x/week with management (more frequently in the first few weeks)—please ensure a quiet, professional, undistracting environment
• Willing to submit brief daily activity logs or use our time-tracking system
• Comfortable adapting to our reporting templates and communication cadence
• Available 4–8 hours/day consistently at a schedule we agree upon, yet with some flexibility

-----------

Compensation & Long-Term Path

USD $3–$6/hour, depending on experience and skill depth (starting). We pay bi-weekly for the first three pay periods (first 6 weeks) to build mutual trust, then transition to monthly for all occurrences.

Exceptional and unordinary candidates may open a different compensation discussion pathway, yet we will require a verifiable work history with reference interviews and a strong record of spectacular results.

We Dance, We Date, We Marry — All contractors enter a one-month probationary period, followed by a three-month (minimum) deeper evaluation before any longer commitment. We do this to ensure mutual fit and find the right seat on the bus for everyone involved. If you deliver results, there's genuine room to grow—additional clients, higher rates, and expanded scope.

How to Apply

Do not reply here with a generic message. It will not get a response.

1) Complete our application form at: ----------

2) Then reply HERE on OnlineJobs.ph to confirm you submitted the form. Note your top platform specialty in that reply to indicate you paid attention to details.

We review every form submission and reply to each applicant to let you know if we see you as a current fit or a potential future match. We appreciate you taking the time.

PATHWAYS is an innovative fractional marketing agency in the U.S. We are a small, lean, and focused team that delivers swift and effective solutions.

Are you wired to see OPPORTUNITY where others see problems?
Are you inclined to discover PATTERNS where others see chaos?
Are you able to see EXPANSION where others see limitation?

And most of all:
Are you undeniably and unapologetically COMMITTED TO YOURSELF and desire to work alongside others with equivalent levels of commitment?

We only work with those who are committed to their path and cultivating their highest potential. We don't do ordinary, and we're not a fit for the uncommitted. If you want to be a part of a dynamic, unified international group that delivers like a team of surgeons or anelite special forces squad, we're looking forward to hearing from you.

See how clear and thorough we are? That's what we require from everyone...
