JOB OVERVIEW

An experienced outbound caller / appointment setter is required on an independent contractor basis to support a focused outreach initiative across the US and Australia for a period of three months.

This is a pure appointment-setting engagement. The responsibility is to make outbound calls to businesses, follow a provided script, and book introductory meetings for a leadership team. There is no selling, pricing discussion, or closing involved.

This engagement is suitable for contractors who prefer structured work, clear expectations, and consistent daily calling activity.

The role involves making approximately 80 to 120 outbound calls per day to businesses across the US and Australia, working across different time zones as required. The work includes briefly and professionally introducing services, handling basic first-level objections using prepared responses, and scheduling qualified discovery calls. All call outcomes, notes, and booked meetings must be logged accurately in a CRM system, along with maintaining simple daily records of calls made, conversations completed, and meetings scheduled.

This is not a closing role. There will be no pricing or contract discussions and no requirement to provide detailed technical explanations. This is not a commission-only engagement and is not suitable for contractors managing multiple client calls during the same working hours.

Clear and confident spoken English with an understandable accent is required. Prior experience in outbound calling or B2B appointment setting is necessary. Comfort calling businesses in the US and Australia across different time zones, following scripts and defined processes consistently, and working with basic tools such as a CRM (orientation provided) and simple reporting tools like Google Sheets is expected. A stable internet connection and a quiet working environment are required.

Experience calling US- or Australia-based small or mid-sized businesses, exposure to B2B or IT-related services, and familiarity with auto-dialers or CRM-driven calling workflows are beneficial but not mandatory.

This is a three-month independent contractor engagement. The expected time commitment is approximately 4 to 6 hours per day during business hours relevant to the supported regions, with exact timing to be mutually agreed. Compensation will be a fixed hourly rate with a small performance-based bonus for each qualified meeting booked. There is no guarantee of minimum hours or continuation beyond the engagement period.

Consistency, discipline, honest reporting, reliability, professionalism, and respect for scripts, processes, and confidentiality are essential.

Applicants should include a short introduction outlining outbound calling or appointment-setting experience, confirm availability across US and Australian business hours, and confirm comfort with a three-month independent contractor engagement.

Strong performers may be considered for future project-based opportunities based on business needs.
