JOB OVERVIEW

Are you passionate about connecting with people, making a difference, and doing meaningful work that supports the environment and community development?

This is NOT sales, you are simply doing outreach to potential farm partners and sending information or setting appointments to see if they wish to participate in our farm park project.

We are creating a cooperative farm and nature-based tourism destination in Hillsborough, NC. We're creating a model for sustainability by blending regenerative agriculture, conservation, wellness, and community empowerment. Our team is seeking a proactive, energetic, and reliable Virtual Assistant to help spread the word and get decision-makers excited about our mission.

We’re looking for a VA with excellent English with minimal or no accent, strong research skills, and a warm, professional phone presence to help identify and reach out to nonprofit executives and business leaders. Your job will be to:

* Research potential partners via LinkedIn, Facebook, and websites
* Make friendly, strategic cold calls to introduce Highland Farm Park
* Schedule calls and appointments for the executive director from interested organizations
* Maintain clear call notes and update spreadsheets via google docs
* Follow up on conversations with thoughtful emails
* Get people genuinely excited about this mission-driven initiative

What We Need From You:
* Excellent spoken and written English (you love to talk and connect!)
* Experience in outbound calling, appointment setting, or lead generation
* Friendly, confident phone manner and good listening skills
* Fast and reliable internet in a quiet space
* Ability to work U.S. business hours, or at least overlap 4 hours/day
* Independence, resourcefulness, and attention to detail (important!)
