JOB OVERVIEW

We’re an independent insurance agency based in South Carolina looking for an experienced outbound appointment setter to call small business owners (contractors, electricians, and similar trades) and book qualified appointments on our calendar.

Your job is strictly calling and booking — no quoting, no closing, no written follow-up required. You’ll work from a provided script and a short list of qualifying questions, then schedule the appointment directly through Calendly.

Pay structure: $4/hour base, plus $5 per appointment set and $10 per appointment that actually shows up. The more qualified appointments you book and the more that show, the more you earn on top of your hourly rate.

Responsibilities:

Make outbound cold calls to a provided list of small business contacts
Follow a provided script to qualify leads (current insurance carrier, renewal date, business type, crew size, etc.)
Book qualified appointments through Calendly
Track call outcomes and report daily call/appointment numbers

We will do a 2 week paid test run before hiring on full time.

Requirements:

Strong spoken English, clear and confident phone manner
Previous cold calling / appointment setting / telemarketing experience (insurance or B2B sales a plus)
Comfortable handling objections and staying on script
Reliable internet and a quiet place to make calls
Available to work US Eastern Time business hours
