Location:** Remote, Philippines only

**Work Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Minnesota Time / Central Time
**Compensation:** $7–$8 USD/hour, depending on experience

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced **Orthodontic Insurance Coordinator** to support a U.S.-based orthodontic practice with insurance verification and claim follow-up.
This role is focused on **orthodontic insurance only**. The ideal candidate has experience verifying dental insurance benefits, completing orthodontic benefit breakdowns, following up on claims, reviewing EOBs, and documenting everything accurately in the practice management system.
This is not a general admin role. We are looking for someone who understands dental insurance workflows and can support a busy orthodontic team with accuracy, consistency, and strong follow-through.

What You’ll Do

### Insurance Verification
- Verify patient dental insurance eligibility and benefits
- Confirm orthodontic coverage, lifetime maximums, deductibles, waiting periods, age limits, frequencies, and plan limitations
- Complete accurate orthodontic insurance breakdowns
- Document insurance details clearly in the practice management system
- Identify missing, unclear, or conflicting insurance information
- Follow up with insurance companies as needed
- Communicate insurance updates to the practice team

### Claim Follow-Up
- Track and follow up on outstanding insurance claims
- Review EOBs and insurance responses
- Identify denied, rejected, delayed, or underpaid claims
- Help resolve claim issues by contacting insurance companies
- Document claim status, payer communication, and next steps
- Escalate claim issues when team review is needed
- Support accurate patient account and insurance records

## Experience We Are Looking For
- Dental insurance verification experience
- Dental or orthodontic claim follow-up experience
- Familiarity with eligibility checks, benefit breakdowns, claims, EOBs, and payer follow-up
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear written English communication
- Comfortable communicating with insurance companies
- Able to work independently and follow established processes
- Organized with follow-up and documentation
- Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment
- Available full-time, Monday to Friday, **8:00 AM–5:00 PM Minnesota Time / Central Time**

## Strong Plus
- Orthodontic insurance experience
- Experience with orthodontic benefit breakdowns
- Experience supporting a U.S.-based orthodontic or dental practice
- Experience with patient ledgers, AR follow-up, or insurance aging reports
- Experience with Medicaid or state insurance
- Experience using orthodontic or dental practice management software

## Helpful Software Experience
Experience with any dental or orthodontic software is helpful, including:

- Any other dental, orthodontic, billing, or practice management system
