This role is foundational. If you do this well, you directly create compounding growth.

Role Overview

We’re hiring an Organic SEO & Content Specialist to build and scale RocketRent’s organic traffic engine. This is not a “write blog posts and hope” role. You’ll be responsible for research, structure, execution, optimization, and measurable ranking improvements.

You’ll work directly with the founder and alongside developers and designers. Expect clear goals, direct feedback, and accountability.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Perform keyword research focused on buyer and high-intent queries
• Build and execute content plans around topic clusters and hubs
• Write and optimize SEO-driven content (pages, guides, templates)
• Optimize existing content for rank improvement and CTR
• Improve internal linking and site structure
• Write SEO-optimized meta titles & descriptions
• Monitor performance in Google Search Console & Analytics
• Track rankings, impressions, clicks, and conversions
• Identify opportunities for programmatic or scalable content
• Coordinate content tasks with writers or VAs as we scale

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years hands-on SEO experience (not theory-only)
• Strong understanding of on-page SEO and search intent
• Experience with Google Search Console (required)
• Solid writing ability in clear, simple English
• Comfortable working with long-tail and programmatic content
• Ability to follow and improve repeatable SEO processes
• Organized, reliable, and deadline-driven

Tools You Should Know (or Learn Fast)
• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics
• Keyword research tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar)
• Google Docs / Sheets
• Basic HTML familiarity (titles, headings, internal links)

Nice to Have (Not Required)
• Experience with SaaS or B2B SEO
• Familiarity with legal, real estate, or finance content
• Experience updating content in WordPress or headless CMS
• Understanding of conversion-focused SEO, not just traffic
• Experience managing or briefing writers
