JOB OVERVIEW

We're BYRDGANG, a fast-growing US e-commerce brand. The founder is hiring his first real right hand — an Operations Manager (an "Integrator") who owns the entire people-loop. The founder names an outcome — "I need a video editor" — and YOU take it from there: source candidates, vet them, run a paid trial, onboard the winner, manage them, and make the honest keep-or-cut call. You don't wait to be told the steps; you own the result.

This is a heavily AI-leveraged role. We run an in-house pipeline of AI agents that already do real work across the business. You'll USE that pipeline every day to move faster — and help improve it — rather than doing everything by hand.

What you'll own:
- The full hiring loop for roles the founder hands you: write the brief, source, screen, run paid trials, onboard, and manage the people you bring on
- Building operators who are REPLACEABLE — documented systems, SOPs, and backups so nothing lives only in one person's head (including your own)
- Managing a small remote team day to day: clear expectations, accountability, and steady communication
- Using and improving our AI agent tools to run the loop with leverage
- A short weekly report to the founder on what shipped, what's blocked, and what's next

You're a strong fit if you have:
- Proven team-management experience — you've actually run people, not just coordinated tasks
- Real recruiting/hiring ability — you can source and judge talent, not just fill seats
- A systems mindset — you build processes that run without you, and you hate single points of failure
- Clear written English and proactive communication (you treat silence as the one unforgivable sin of remote work)
- E-commerce operations experience is a bonus edge, NOT a requirement

The trial IS the job: the strongest candidates go into a 2-week PAID trial where you run one real hire end-to-end for us — judged on the actual work you produce, not interview talk.

Hours: Full-time, 40 hrs/week, with a few hours overlapping US Mountain Time mornings. Pay: $ ---------- /week depending on experience — this is a senior, right-hand role.
