About the Role
The CEO will be transitioning into law school in August 2026. This role is critical in helping the company scale by taking ownership of day-to-day operations and building systems that allow the business to run efficiently without constant oversight. This is not a support role. This is a leadership role for someone who wants to grow into a Director of Operations. and take ownership of execution. You will act as the operational bridge between the CEO and the team, ensuring all work is executed efficiently without requiring constant CEO involvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and workflows across compliance, proposals, and internal operations.
- Build and document SOPs across all core business functions.
- Implement systems using tools like
- Track deadlines, deliverables, and ensure all work is completed on time.
- Run weekly team check-ins and manage remote staff performance.
- Support proposal and revenue pipeline tracking (RFP/RFQ coordination)
- Hire and manage interns or support staff
- Create weekly reports and KPI dashboards for the CEO
- Ownership Expectations (Non-Negotiable)
- You are expected to take ownership of tasks and outcomes, not wait for instructions.
- You proactively identify problems and present solutions.
- You communicate clearly and early—no silence or delays.
- You are comfortable making decisions with limited direction
Who You Are
- Degree preferred but not required. A business or operations background is a plus.
- Experience in operations, startups, or remote team management
- 5–7+ years in operations, business management, or startup scaling.
- Experience building systems, processes, and team infrastructure with limited oversight
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience with government contracting, compliance, or consulting (preferred).
Work Environment:
- Must be available and responsive during EST working hours (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST)
- Fully remote (Philippines-based)
- Must have reliable internet and dual-monitor setup
- 6-month probationary period

Compensation & Growth
- Base: $750/month (25 hours/week)
- Performance-based bonuses (accuracy, timeliness, execution)
- Additional bonuses tied to contracts and proposals won
- Opportunity for a salary increase after 90 days based on performance
- Clear pathway to Director of Operations with increased compensation and responsibility
