JOB OVERVIEW

We are a Japan-based company specializing in luxury vintage products, particularly vintage Louis Vuitton.

We are currently developing a new business in the Philippines and are looking for a reliable and proactive Philippines Operations Manager who can help us build and manage the local operation.

Our planned business model is:

Japan sourcing → Philippines → Local repair → Live selling → Customer → Sales

The Japanese side will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing products in Japan.

Your role will be to build and manage the business operation in the Philippines.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Researching and finding reliable local luxury bag repair businesses
• Contacting repair businesses, requesting quotations, comparing prices and services, and negotiating when necessary
• Managing and tracking repair jobs, deadlines, costs, and quality
• Researching the Philippine market for vintage Louis Vuitton and other luxury products
• Researching actual local selling prices and customer demand
• Finding and contacting potential livestream sellers / live selling hosts
• Building relationships with reliable sellers and local business partners
• Coordinating live selling operations
• Managing inventory received from Japan
• Coordinating local delivery and customer communication
• Tracking sales, expenses, payments, and inventory
• Preparing regular reports for the Japan-based director
• Identifying problems and proposing practical solutions
• Taking responsibility for completing tasks independently

This is NOT simply a virtual assistant position.

We are looking for someone who can think like a business operator.

You will be expected to research information, contact real businesses, communicate with people, compare different options, negotiate when necessary, make recommendations, and take responsibility for results.

IMPORTANT PART OF THIS POSITION:

We are currently testing whether this business model can work successfully in the Philippines.

We do NOT want someone who simply agrees with our business idea.

You will gradually be given responsibility for different areas of the business, for example:

Week 1:
Research local repair businesses and contact potential repair partners.

Week 2:
Research and identify strong livestream sellers and contact potential candidates.

Week 3:
Research local market prices, customer demand, and competitors.

Week 4:
Help create a practical plan for selling the first 10 products.

The exact tasks may change depending on what we learn from the market.

We want to build this business together with someone who can identify problems, test ideas, and improve the business based on real results.

We are looking for a long-term working relationship with the right person.
