JOB OVERVIEW

We operate multiple fashion brands across ecommerce and physical retail. Our brands include:

Fame On Central – Our primary fashion brand with a Shopify ecommerce site and three retail locations.

Fame Off Central – Our outlet website with heavily discounted inventory.

Adee Clothing – Our baby clothing line sold online and through select channels.

We have retail locations in Lawrence (NY), Pomona (NY), and Jackson (NJ). Our warehouse (in Lawrence) handles outlet inventory, Adee shipments, and last season’s stock. New shipments from China go directly to stores.

We rely on systems like Shopify, Klaviyo (email), Gorgias (support), and Google Ads (ads), with external agencies supporting marketing.

Role Mission:
The Operations Manager acts as the operational control center of the business. You won’t execute every task yourself, but you’ll ensure that systems, teams, and processes are functioning smoothly. You’ll monitor operations, detect issues early, coordinate between teams, and continuously improve processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor Shopify sites to ensure smooth navigation, conversion, and checkout.

Track order fulfillment daily, ensuring no backlog or delays.

Oversee customer service quality (Gorgias), ensuring prompt, effective resolution.

Monitor email (Klaviyo) and ad performance to ensure campaigns are running and driving results.

Coordinate between warehouse, marketing, and customer support when operational issues arise (e.g., promotions affecting fulfillment).

Track inventory flow, identifying slow-moving stock and ensuring best-sellers are available.

Ensure warehouse accountability (orders packed per hour, error rates, etc.).

Work with agencies and teams to ensure marketing campaigns align with fulfillment capacity.

Track production timelines, China QC, and shipment coordination.

Continuously identify operational improvements across these areas.

Ideal Candidate Traits:

Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented.

Able to connect the dots between marketing, ecommerce, customer experience, and fulfillment.

Strong problem-solving skills—able to take ownership, diagnose issues, and coordinate teams to solve them.

Experience with ecommerce platforms (Shopify), marketing tools (Klaviyo), and customer support systems (Gorgias).
