OnePoint Insurance Agency is looking for an exceptional Insurance Administrative Assistant / Operations & Customer Service Specialist to become an important part of our growing team.
This is NOT a traditional customer call center position.
Instead, you'll be the operational backbone of our agency—supporting our licensed agents, keeping policies moving, assisting with renewals, generating insurance quotes, communicating with insurance carriers, assisting clients by phone when needed, and ensuring every client receives outstanding service both behind the scenes and during direct interactions.

What You'll Do
As our Insurance Operations & Customer Service Specialist, you'll help keep the agency running smoothly by supporting our licensed insurance agents and ensuring every client file and interaction is handled accurately and professionally.
Your responsibilities include:
Generate insurance quotes
Review insurance policies for accuracy
Compare coverage options
Process policy changes and endorsements
Assist with policy renewals
Prepare and send professional
Send text message follow-ups to clients
Make and receive client phone calls
Provide professional customer service over the phone
Follow up with clients regarding quotes, renewals, documents, payments, and pending requests
Answer general client questions and properly route matters requiring a licensed agent
Listen carefully to clients, identify their needs, and document conversations accurately
Build positive relationships with clients through professional and friendly communication
Request documents from clients
Update our CRM accurately
Document all client calls and interactions in the CRM
Maintain organized client files
Communicate with insurance companies regarding policy status
Contact carrier underwriting departments
Contact carrier billing departments
Verify policy activity and effective dates
Resolve policy servicing issues
Track pending requests until completed
Follow up with carriers until every issue is resolved
Support licensed agents with administrative tasks
Complete projects assigned by management
While this is not a traditional call center or phone-sales position, phone communication is an important part of the role. You should be comfortable speaking professionally with clients, following up on outstanding matters, answering incoming calls when needed, and helping create an excellent customer experience.
