About Us
We are a high-growth direct-to-consumer e-commerce business running multiple revenue streams and complex payment ecosystems. Our goal is to get complete clarity on cash flows, account mapping, and reliable financial reporting, and to build structured bookkeeping that scales with the business.
This is not an entry-level data entry job — we need someone who thinks operationally and can bring order to complexity. You will start by organizing the business’s financial landscape and grow into a key finance function.
???? What You’ll Do
You will:
Phase 1 — Financial Mapping & Visibility
Map all financial accounts (bank accounts, payment processors, multi-currency balances, etc.)
Identify start & end balances
Classify funds into:
Funds received
Funds in transit
Liquidity available
Open liabilities / costs
Deliver a clear weekly liquidity + reconciliation snapshot
Phase 2 — Structured Bookkeeping
Maintain live transaction visibility with daily monitoring
Reconcile accounts weekly (15+ accounts across currencies/processors)
Transition from Sheets to structured bookkeeping (QuickBooks preferred)
Classify expenses & align with business departments
Prepare monthly close (before the 5th of the following month)
Support ongoing optimization of payment flows and processor reconciliation

Clean and accurate financial statements
Weekly liquidity summaries you can trust
Backlog cleaned and books fully reconciled
Monthly close done consistently and on time
You own the books — not just the data entry.
???? Required Skills & Experience
? Proven DTC e-commerce bookkeeping experience (Shopify + payment processors) — not generic bookkeeping
? Advanced Google Sheets / Excel proficiency (pivot tables, arrays, lookups, logic formulas)
? Experience reconciling multi-currency accounts and multiple processors
? QuickBooks knowledge or ability to implement it from scratch
? Strong communication skills (clear, timely, proactive)
? Structured, dependable operator mentality
Nice to have (not mandatory):
Experience with intercompany transactions
VAT / compliance understanding
Experience with inventory COGS accounting

Full-time (40 hrs/week) remote
Flexible hours with overlap to CET
Daily Slack communication & weekly reporting call
