What the role is:
Weekly Accounting is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operational Accountant to join our growing team. This role is essential for managing our day-to-day accounting operations, particularly focusing on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with
What You'll Be Doing:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including AR and AP.
- Ensure timely entry of bills into payment systems and manage the settlement and ramp-up for payment processes.
- Manage accounts receivable, including contacting customers about overdue balances, creating invoices, and explaining
reports.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accurate matching of vendor and client balances.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and tea
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in operational accounting, particularly with AR and AP processes.
- Familiarity with
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively managing relationships with clients and vendors.
- General accounting skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks, Missive, or other relevant accounting and email management software.
- A team player capable of working in small teams, reporting directly to the team leader.
