**CálamoSpeak Academy** is an online English academy based in Spain. We provide one-to-one English lessons to adults and university students, mainly Spanish-speaking learners who need English for work, university or official exams.
We are looking for an experienced **online English teacher based in the Philippines** to join our teaching team.
## What we are looking for
* Excellent spoken English (**C1/C2 level**).
* Spanish **B2 or higher** is preferred. B2+ is a strong advantage.
* Previous experience teaching English online.
* Experience teaching **adults** is highly valued.
* Good understanding of the difficulties Spanish-speaking students have when learning English.
* Clear pronunciation and strong conversational skills.
* Comfortable teaching one-to-one classes.
* Reliable internet connection, computer and headset.
* Professional, punctual and reliable.
* Comfortable using Zoom/Google Meet and online teaching tools.
Experience with **Business English, Cambridge exams, IELTS, TOEFL or other official English exams** is a plus.
## What you will do
* Teach one-to-one online English classes.

* Help Spanish-speaking students improve speaking, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
* Follow our teaching methodology and lesson structure.
* Give brief feedback after classes when required.

There may also be opportunities for additional hours depending on student demand.
## Payment
**Starting rate: $5 USD per teaching hour**.
We are looking for a long-term collaboration and there is potential to increase the hourly rate based on performance and availability.
## Important

We are particularly interested in teachers who are looking for a **stable, long-term teaching collaboration**, rather than occasional tutoring.
## How to apply
Please send us:

2. Your teaching experience and how many years you have been teaching English.
3. Your **English level**.
4. Your **Spanish level** and how/where you learned Spanish.
