JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented and content-driven On-Page SEO Specialist to join our team. If you understand that great SEO is about perfectly matching search intent with highly optimized, readable, and engaging content, this role is for you.
You will be the bridge between search engine algorithms and human readers, ensuring our website pages are structurally sound, highly relevant, and primed to rank at the top of the search results.
Key Responsibilities

Keyword Strategy: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value topics and map them to the appropriate pages on our site.
Content Optimization: Audit and optimize existing blog posts, landing pages, and service pages (title tags, meta descriptions, H1/H2/H3 structures, URL slugs, and image alt text).
Internal Linking: Develop and execute strategic internal linking silos to distribute page authority and improve user navigation.
Content Briefs: Create detailed, SEO-driven content outlines and briefs for our writing team to ensure new content hits all necessary semantic keywords.
Competitor Analysis: Analyze top-ranking competitor pages to identify content gaps, readability scores, and optimal formatting.
Performance Tracking: Monitor organic rankings, click-through rates (CTR), and user engagement metrics using Google Search Console and Google Analytics to iterate on existing content.
Qualifications & Skills

Proven Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically focused on on-page SEO, content editing, and keyword research.
SEO Tools: Proficiency with standard industry tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, or Moz, as well as Google Search Console.
Exceptional Editorial Skills: Strong command of the English language with the ability to edit and format content for readability, flow, and SEO best practices without sounding robotic or "keyword-stuffed."
Search Intent Focus: A deep understanding of user intent (informational, navigational, transactional) and how to satisfy it.
CMS Proficiency: Hands-on experience formatting and publishing content in WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or similar platforms.
Nice-to-Haves

Experience using content optimization tools like Surfer SEO, Clearscope, or Frase.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS as it relates to text formatting and basic on-page elements.
Familiarity with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) basics to help turn organic traffic into leads.
