We make short videos for Ode Bible, an app with 20,000+ songs that put the whole Bible to music in rap, reggae, country, worship and more. We need on-camera people for our videos. We are filling two spots: one male presenter and one female presenter.
YOU MUST ALREADY HAVE EXPERIENCE ON CAMERA
We are looking for people who already post videos of themselves and are comfortable talking to a camera. In your application, send links to some videos of you on camera (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube,
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Film short clips of yourself on your phone: big reactions (hand over mouth, wide eyes, shaking your head, smiling), headphones on, sitting on a couch, at a desk, in a car, or outside.
- Hold a phone in your hand in many clips, like you are looking at an app.
- Sometimes say a short line to the camera, like "Check out Ephesians in rap." Clear English is important. An accent is fine.
- Listen to a chapter of the app and film your real reaction. We give you the exact scenes and directions.
WHAT YOU NEED
- A smartphone to film with.
- A second phone, or a prop, to hold in the videos. It does not need to work. A dummy or fake phone, an old phone, or a borrowed phone from a friend or family member is all fine. It just has to look like a phone.
- A well-lit place to film: in front of a window, a bright kitchen, a car in daylight, or outside.
- Good English and a good sense of humor.
- 18 or older.
PAY
Your first project is paid: $10 for about 2.5 hours of filming (that is $4 per hour). It can lead to more paid work if it is a good fit, but we cannot promise ongoing hours. Paid through Wise.
HOW WE USE YOUR VIDEO
Your clips may appear in videos on the app's social media accounts and ads, and may be edited and used many times. You will sign a short release before filming.
HOW TO APPLY
Do not use the Apply button.
1. Your name, country, and whether you are applying as the male or the female presenter.
2. Links to 2 to 3 videos of you on camera.
3. 3 to 5 photos of yourself in different looks (with or without glasses, different outfits).
4. 3 to 5 photos of places you could film: a bright room, by a window, a kitchen, a car, outside.
5. Tell us what phone you have for filming and what phone or prop you would hold in the videos.
Photos are used only to review your application.
