JOB OVERVIEW

???? Truck Dispatcher (Auto Transport) – Remote

We’re a growing car hauling company (currently running 2–3 trucks) looking for a dispatcher to manage day-to-day operations and keep our trucks moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

* Search for loads on load boards (Central Dispatch, Super Dispatch, etc.)
* Check emails for load opportunities
* Call/text brokers to confirm availability and negotiate rates
* Build routes that minimize deadhead and maximize revenue
* Dispatch drivers and keep them updated
* Track pickups, deliveries, and any issues that come up

Goals

* Keep trucks loaded consistently
* Hit daily revenue targets per truck
* Reduce empty miles as much as possible

Pay

* Base pay (depends on experience)
* Bonus opportunities for hitting performance targets

Schedule

* Typically 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM PST
* Some flexibility as we grow

Requirements

* Dispatching experience preferred (auto transport is a plus)
* Comfortable using load boards
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Organized and able to move quickly

We’re also looking for an assistant dispatcher who wants to learn and grow into a full dispatcher role.

Responsibilities

* Monitor load boards throughout the day
* Watch for new loads and set alerts
* Identify good load options based on route, rate, and efficiency
* Send the best options to the dispatcher/management
* Check incoming emails for loads
* Help with texting/emailing brokers when needed

Growth Opportunity

* Opportunity to move into a full dispatcher role
* Training provided + additional resources available

Schedule

* Flexible, but within 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM PST range / 3:00 PM PST - 11:00 PST range

Pay

* Hourly (depends on experience)
* Opportunity for increases as you grow into the role
