JOB OVERVIEW

Position: Automation Specialist (N8N & Make Expert)

Type: Part-Time (With Clear Path to Full-Time)
Compensation: $6–$8/hour to start (performance-based growth)
Industry: Service-Based Businesses (USA)

We’re a fast-growing service-based company looking to bring on a high-level Automation Specialist who is exceptionally strong with N8N and Make.

This role is not for beginners, template builders, or people who only know surface-level GoHighLevel automations.

We’re looking for someone who can step into a business, identify operational bottlenecks, and architect real automation systems that improve speed, accuracy, and scalability across the entire company.

This starts part-time, with a clear path to full-time as you prove impact and ownership.

Your Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain advanced automations using N8N and Make
Analyze existing workflows and identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
Architect automation systems that improve:
Lead handling
Data flow

CRM accuracy

Internal operations
Reporting & tracking
Build custom logic-based automations, not just simple triggers
Improve data tracking, reliability, and visibility across systems

Connect and sync multiple platforms (CRMs, forms, spreadsheets, APIs, internal tools, etc.)

Document systems clearly so they’re scalable and maintainable
Collaborate closely with leadership to align automations with business goals
Proactively suggest better system designs and optimizations

Required Skills & Experience (Non-Negotiable)
Strong, proven experience with N8N and Make

Ability to:

Map complex workflows
Design logic-heavy automations
Handle edge cases and failure states
Deep understanding of:
Data flow & structuring

Webhooks & APIs

Conditional logic & branching
Error handling & monitoring
Ability to enter an existing business and improve systems, not just build isolated automations
Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking mindset
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

English Requirement (Important)

Strong English communication skills
Must communicate clearly in:
Written messages
Voice calls
Technical explanations & strategy discussions

Clear communication is mandatory. You’ll be working closely with decision-makers.

Bonus Skills (Big Plus, Not Required)

Experience automating across multiple CRMs or custom stacks
Familiarity with AI integrations (OpenAI, web scraping, enrichment, etc.)
Experience designing automation systems for scaling teams
Strong documentation habits
Willingness to learn and adapt quickly as systems evolve

Compensation & Growth
