Application Screening Question
To help us assess your fit, please respond to the following before submitting your CV:
An Australian artist we're working with creates dreamy indie electronic songs blending post-punk textures, warped electronics, and unexpectedly tender pop moments. Their sound is experimental, conceptual, and deeply influenced by '80s acts like Blue Nile and Prefab Sprout. They're at the intersection of dream pop, art pop, and hypnagogic pop… introspective, hazy, and emotionally nuanced.
Where would you pitch this artist to get press coverage in the USA, UK, and Australia? Please name at least 10 specific publications, platforms, or journalists/influencers, explain why each would be a good fit for this artist, and outline your pitch approach for each.
