Looking for an invidiual who has experience working in the music industry, scouting artists, and doing outreach to them.
We are a music rights company working on a project that requires someone with genuine hands-on experience in the music industry.
We are looking for one person who knows how to find independent artists, research their profiles, and reach out to them effectively. This is a research and outreach role. You will be identifying specific artists that meet a defined criteria, building profiles on them, and making contact on our behalf.
This is not a role for someone who has read about the music industry. It is for someone who has worked in it, whether at a label, publisher, distributor, PRO, management company, or music tech startup. You already know how the ecosystem works. You know the difference between an independent artist and a major label artist. You know where to find artists online and how to approach them without getting ignored.
What you will be doing
Researching and identifying independent artists that match a specific profile we will share with you once onboarded. Building detailed profiles on each artist including their catalog, streaming presence, distributor, and contact information. Reaching out to artists directly via social media,
What we need from you
Real experience working with or around artists in the music industry. Proven ability to find and contact independent artists at scale. Familiarity with music databases and research tools. Strong written communication, you know how to write an outreach message that gets a response. Self-directed and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision. Bonus if you have contacts or experience in international music markets, specifically Russia, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, or Africa.
You will be paid intially based upon every client that joins from your closing. Later on, when you become integral you will be paid bonuses, etc. You are sure to be paid well once things settle in.
