Job title: Multimedia & Social Media Specialist

Location: Remote (Philippines-based)
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (ET/New York)

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a creative, results-driven Multimedia/Social Media Specialist to elevate our digital presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will combine strong visual storytelling abilities with data-informed strategy to produce engaging content that grows our online community and drives measurable results. This role requires expertise in both organic content creation and paid advertising management across major social platforms, as well as proficiency in leveraging AI tools and automated workflows to maximize efficiency and output.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Content Creation (40%)
Design eye-catching graphics, animations, and multimedia assets for posts, campaigns, and digital events using industry-standard tools
Shoot, edit, and publish compelling short-form video content optimized for platform-specific requirements (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)
Develop creative concepts that align with our brand voice while adapting to each platform's unique audience expectations and trends
Create comprehensive content calendars that balance promotional content with community engagement
Tell impactful visual stories that communicate our mission and values effectively
Utilize AI content generation tools to accelerate ideation and content production while maintaining brand voice
Social media scheduling, analytics, and reporting.

Paid Advertising Management (30%)
Develop, implement, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms:
Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
LinkedIn
Google Ads
TikTok
X.com (formerly Twitter)
BlueSky
Create targeted audience segments based on demographic, behavioral, and interest data
Manage advertising budgets to maximize ROI across platforms
Design high-converting ad creatives tailored to each platform's specifications
A/B test ad concepts, headlines, visuals, and targeting to continuously improve performance
Implement conversion tracking and attribution reporting
Leverage AI-powered ad optimization tools to improve targeting and performance

Community Growth & Engagement (20%)
Implement automated and manual engagement strategies to grow followers and increase interactions
Manage response to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, brand-consistent manner
Identify and engage with relevant communities, industry influencers, and potential partners
Create interactive content formats (polls, questions, contests) to boost community participation
Monitor conversations around relevant topics to identify engagement opportunities

Analytics & Optimization (10%)
Track comprehensive performance metrics across all platforms using native analytics and third-party tools
Produce weekly and monthly reports highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations
Analyze campaign data to identify patterns and refine future strategy
Stay current on platform algorithm changes, emerging features, and industry best practices
Research competitors and industry leaders to benchmark performance and identify opportunities
Implement AI analytics tools to derive deeper insights from performance data
AI Integration (Additional Responsibility)
AI Image and Video Creation
Implement AI-powered content creation pipelines to scale production while maintaining quality
Utilize AI tools for image generation, video editing, copywriting, and content repurposing
Create and optimize automated posting schedules across multiple platforms
Stay current with emerging AI tools in the social media and content creation space

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related field
4+ years of professional experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital advertising
Advanced proficiency in design and video editing software
(Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Final Cut Pro)
Demonstrated experience managing paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, and LinkedIn platforms
Strong portfolio showcasing multimedia content creation skills
Experience with AI content tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, ChatGPT, Jasper, or similar platforms)
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently during U.S. Eastern Time business hours
High-speed internet connection and professional home office setup

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of accessibility best practices for digital content
Familiarity with social media management tools
Experience with marketing automation platforms
Basic understanding of SEO principles
Data visualization skills
Experience in AI Image and Video Creation
