JOB OVERVIEW

# Full-Time Multi-Platform Paid Ads & Reporting Specialist

## About Service Conversion

Service Conversion helps businesses grow through digital marketing, lead generation, automation, and technology. We are looking for an experienced, analytical, and highly accountable Paid Ads Specialist to manage advertising campaigns and performance reporting across multiple client accounts.

## Job Overview

We are looking for an expert in paid advertising who can plan, launch, manage, analyze, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and TikTok Ads.

You will be responsible for the full advertising workflow, from campaign strategy and setup through tracking, optimization, performance analysis, and reporting.

**Reporting is a non-negotiable requirement for this position.** You must document and report everything you do, including campaign launches, budget changes, optimization decisions, performance results, issues identified, and actions taken.

We need someone who makes decisions based on data, understands how to measure campaign effectiveness, and can clearly demonstrate what the advertising budget is achieving.

Experience with emerging ChatGPT advertising opportunities is a bonus.

## 1. Google Ads

You must have practical experience managing Google Ads across relevant campaign types and be able to determine which formats are appropriate for each campaign objective.

Responsibilities include:

- Manage Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube, and other relevant Google Ads campaign types.
- Conduct keyword research and manage negative keywords.
- Develop campaign structures, targeting strategies, ad copy, and bidding strategies.
- Monitor budgets, impressions, clicks, conversions, cost per lead, and return on ad spend where applicable.
- Optimize campaigns to improve lead quality and reduce wasted advertising spend.
- Identify performance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain clear records of campaign changes and results.

## 2. Facebook and Instagram Ads

- Build and manage campaigns through Meta Ads Manager.
- Develop audience targeting, retargeting, and creative testing strategies.
- Test ad copy, headlines, images, videos, placements, and calls to action.
- Monitor spend, lead quality, conversion rates, cost per lead, and return on ad spend where measurable.
- Identify underperforming ads and make data-driven optimization decisions.
- Maintain accurate reporting across campaigns and client accounts.

## 3. TikTok Ads

- Set up and manage TikTok advertising campaigns.
- Develop appropriate audience, creative, and campaign strategies.
- Test video concepts, hooks, messaging, and calls to action.
- Monitor campaign spend, engagement, conversions, and acquisition costs.
- Recommend and implement improvements based on campaign performance.

## 4. GA4, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity

Strong knowledge of analytics and tracking is required.

- Configure and troubleshoot Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Implement and test tags, triggers, and variables in Google Tag Manager.
- Validate conversion events and ensure campaign tracking is working correctly.
- Use Microsoft Clarity to analyze supported user behavior insights, including session recordings and heatmaps.
- Investigate discrepancies between advertising platforms, analytics reports, and lead records.
- Identify tracking failures, duplicate events, and missing conversion data.
- Maintain documentation of tracking configurations and changes.

## 5. UTM Tracking and Email Campaign Attribution

You must understand UTM parameters and how to use them to track traffic from email campaigns and other marketing channels.

Responsibilities include:

- Create consistent UTM naming conventions for campaign links.
- Use parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and utm_term where appropriate.
- Track email marketing traffic separately from paid advertising and other traffic sources.
- Validate that campaign parameters are preserved and appear correctly in GA4 reports.
- Troubleshoot attribution and traffic-source discrepancies.
- Maintain a consistent campaign naming and tracking system across clients.

## 6. Expert-Level Reporting and Accountability

**This is one of the most important requirements of the position.**

You must report on all work performed and be able to explain the reasoning and results behind your decisions.

Reporting responsibilities include:

- Maintain accurate records of campaign activity across all assigned advertising platforms.
- Report advertising spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, conversion rates, CPL, CPA, and ROAS where applicable.
- Track performance against campaign objectives and agreed KPIs.
- Document campaign launches, budget adjustments, targeting changes, creative tests, and optimization actions.
- Explain why changes were made and evaluate their impact.
- Identify underperforming campaigns, investigate the cause, and document corrective actions.
- Report tracking issues, missing data, attribution limitations, and other factors affecting performance.
- Maintain organized reporting spreadsheets and dashboards.
- Provide clear summaries of results, insights, risks, and recommended next steps.
- Ensure reports are accurate, consistent, and easy for management to review.

We do not want reports that simply list clicks and impressions. We want someone who understands the business impact of advertising and can explain what the numbers mean.

You must be able to answer:

- How much did we spend?
- What results did we generate?
- How much did each lead or acquisition cost?
- Which campaigns and creatives performed best?
- What changes did you make, and why?
- What problems did you identify and resolve?
- What should we do next, and what evidence supports your recommendation?

**Every campaign must be measurable, every significant change must be documented, and all reporting must be supported by reliable data.**

## 7. ChatGPT Advertising (Bonus)

- Stay informed about advertising opportunities within ChatGPT and other emerging AI platforms.
- Research new advertising formats and their availability.
- Evaluate potential use cases and recommend suitable opportunities as they become available.

Direct experience is a bonus, not a mandatory requirement. Candidates should distinguish between officially available products and announcements, tests, or future opportunities.

## Requirements

- Proven hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
- Practical experience with Facebook and Instagram Ads.
- Experience managing TikTok Ads or demonstrable expertise with the platform.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity.
- Understanding of UTM parameters and email campaign tracking.
- Experience with conversion tracking, attribution, and performance measurement.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and client accounts.
- Strong written English and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, identify issues, and take ownership of results.
- Willingness to document work and follow internal reporting procedures.

Experience with lead generation for service-based businesses, including HVAC, plumbing, contractors, and other local service providers, is an advantage.

## Work Arrangement

- Employment type: Full-time, remote.
- Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $3–$5 USD per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability.
- Long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

## Application Instructions

To be considered, please provide:

1. A brief introduction and summary of your advertising experience.
2. The platforms you have personally managed and your level of expertise with each.
3. Examples of campaigns you have managed, including objectives, approximate budgets, and measurable results.
4. A sample performance report or dashboard you have created, with confidential information removed.
5. An explanation of how you use GA4, GTM, Microsoft Clarity, and UTM parameters to measure campaign performance.
6. An example of a campaign that underperformed, the changes you made, and the resulting outcome.
7. Your expected hourly rate and availability.

Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a practical campaign assessment within 24 hours. The assessment will evaluate campaign planning, tracking, optimization, and reporting.

Please do not share confidential client information or credentials in your application.

We are looking for someone who combines advertising expertise with strong analytical thinking, detailed reporting, and genuine ownership of campaign performance.
