JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced eCommerce specialist to help us audit, fix, and improve performance across multiple sales channels, then document processes so our internal team can maintain and scale.

This is not a long-term agency role.
This is a project-based role focused on identifying issues, implementing fixes, and creating systems.

Our business (Capital City Commerce) sells custom and novelty products across:

Amazon
Walmart
eBay
Etsy
Shopify
TikTok Shop

We already have products live and generating sales, but several channels are underperforming or suppressed, and we need an expert to diagnose and fix the root causes.

Scope of Work:
--Phase 1: Audit (High Priority)
--Review all sales channels and identify key issues impacting performance
--Prioritize opportunities based on revenue impact and ease of implementation
--Phase 2: Fix & Optimize
--Walmart
--Resolve listing quality issues (content, attributes, pricing, shipping)
--Fix unpublished/suppressed listings
--Improve listing completeness and compliance
--Amazon
--Identify and resolve listing issues (search suppression, inactive listings, etc.)
--Optimize listings where needed (titles, bullets, backend attributes)
--eBay
--Diagnose why store performance is low or suppressed
--Fix listing structure, item specifics, and visibility issues
--Shopify
--Review site and identify opportunities to improve conversion and sales
--Recommend improvements (UX, product pages, offers, etc.)
--TikTok Shop
--Review current setup and provide growth recommendations
--Phase 3: Documentation & Handoff
--Document key processes and fixes so our internal VA team can maintain and scale
--Provide clear instructions and SOPs where needed

What We’re Looking For:
--Proven experience managing and optimizing multiple eCommerce platforms
--Strong understanding of:
--Listing optimization
--Marketplace policies
--Catalog structure
--Conversion fundamentals
--Ability to diagnose problems quickly and prioritize high-impact fixes
--Experience working with existing product catalogs (not just launching new brands)
--Strong communication and ability to explain decisions clearly

What We’re NOT Looking For:
--Agencies with large retainers
--Social media marketers
--“SEO-only” freelancers
--Beginners or general VA-type profiles

Project Details:
--Type: Project-based (with potential for follow-up work)
