JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a group of direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands selling physical
products (kits, apparel and accessories, supplements) across Shopify
and Amazon US. Products are manufactured in China and the US and distributed through
warehouses in China, the US and Europe.
Supply chain is currently being handled internally alongside other work,
and it has become the bottleneck. This hire takes it over. Within 60 days
you should own supplier communication, inventory planning and warehouse
planning completely.
This is not a coordinator or data-entry role. You make decisions and you
are judged on results.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
1. INVENTORY FORECASTING AND REPLENISHMENT
Across every brand and channel (Shopify plus Amazon FBA and AWD).
No stockouts on winners, no cash locked in dead stock.
2. CHINA FACTORY SOURCING AND NEGOTIATION
You inherit our existing factory relationships, nurture them, run
sample rounds, and hunt better suppliers on price, quality and lead
time.
3. PACKAGING AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Write briefs for our in-house designers (boxes, inserts, kits,
bundles), manage dielines and print specs with factories, approve
samples.
4. AMAZON PLANNING
Shipment plans, carton and prep compliance, kit and bundle size rules,
AWD to FBA replenishment, and resolving Seller Central or warehouse
restrictions before they cost us money.
5. INTERNATIONAL WAREHOUSE PLANNING
3PL contracts, capacity and stock allocation across China, the US and
Europe. Freight forwarding (ocean and air), customs paperwork, landed
cost tracking.
6. COST REDUCTION
Unit cost, packaging cost, freight, storage and fulfilment fees. You
are measured on landed cost per unit and on cash tied up in inventory.
7. PRODUCT LIFECYCLE
Flag slow movers, plan run-outs, roll them into bundles or mystery
boxes, keep the catalog clean.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years in ecommerce or DTC supply chain, procurement or logistics.
Multi-brand or portfolio experience is a strong plus.
- Proven China factory sourcing and negotiation. You have personally
negotiated unit prices, MOQs and lead times, and won.
- Hands-on Amazon FBA experience: shipment plans, prep and labeling
requirements, AWD, and dealing with Seller Central restrictions.
- Freight and import knowledge: ocean and air freight, incoterms, customs
documents, landed cost.
- Strong inventory forecasting. You build and maintain your own models in
Google Sheets or Excel: sales velocity, lead time, safety stock,
reorder points.
- Shopify inventory management.
- Excellent written and spoken English. You will be on calls with Chinese
factories, US warehouses and European suppliers.
- Deadline discipline. We run on Asana. Tasks are not delivered late. If
something will slip, you flag it BEFORE the due date, not after.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience at an 8 or 9 figure ecommerce brand.
- Packaging design or print production background.
- Setting up a new 3PL or warehouse from scratch.
- Supplement or regulated product experience.
WHAT WE OFFER
- 3500 USD per month, long term, full time.

middleman passing messages.

Chain.
