Motion & Media Support
Full-time | Remote (Philippines) | US$280 per week | Monday–Friday
An Australian fashion / lifestyle DTC brand is looking for a Motion & Media Support hire to lead video editing across the marketing team's content output.
This role sits within Marketing & Creative and works closely with the Social/Content team, the founder, and campaign leads to turn raw footage into fast, engaging, on-brand video — from campaign launches through to everyday social and organic content.
The Opportunity
Pay: US$280 per week (fixed advertised rate; US$7.00 per hour).
Arrangement: Full-time remote contractor engagement, 40 hours per week.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (aligned to Australian business hours).
Start: As soon as practical. Please include your earliest start date and any notice period.
The advertised rate is fixed. Please only apply if you are comfortable with the compensation and schedule.
What you'll be responsible for
1. Campaign content — Cutting reels from campaign launch content, with a focus on hero products.
2. In-house face to camera — Cutting and editing in-house face-to-camera content (founder/talent or Social team) into publish-ready pieces.
3. Influencer content — Cutting and editing influencer content, splitting multi-look reels into individual posts for organic and paid use.
4. Stop motion — Creating stop-motion content for social hype and brand-building filler content.
5. Reactive / lower-lift content — Fast-turnaround editing of raw or lookbook footage into stories and in-the-moment posts, prioritising speed over polish.
6. Paid ad creative — Cutting multiple hook/variation edits of the same footage for A/B testing across paid social, and resizing winning organic content for paid placements.
7. Event and activation content — On-the-ground and same-day editing from activations, launches, and store openings/events for near real-time posting.
8. UGC, customer and employee content — Sourcing, editing, and repackaging customer, creator, and employee-generated content into social- and paid-ready formats.
9. Cross-channel repurposing — Adapting core footage across social, EDM/email banners/GIFs, website product and campaign video, and long-format channels.
10. Templates and batching — Building reusable cut-down templates and presets (intros, product callouts, transitions) to support higher-volume, faster-turnaround content.
Must-haves
- Fluent English (spoken and written) — required. You must communicate clearly with an Australian marketing and creative team.
- Strong portfolio/reel demonstrating social-first video editing, ideally fashion, lifestyle, or DTC retail.
- Software proficiency: Adobe, CapCut, Figma, Canva; After Effects for motion graphics, titles, and typography.
- Platform know-how across 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 formats.
- Motion graphics within existing brand templates and visual identity (not needing full creative direction for every asset).
- Comfortable with high content volume and fast turnaround in a deadline-driven environment.
- Asset management: organising, logging, and archiving raw footage from shoots, influencer sends, studio days, and campaigns.
- Collaboration: working closely with digital and Social/Content teams, following briefs, and turning around feedback quickly.
- Sound design & music licensing awareness for social (royalty-free / trending-sound workarounds).
- Basic photography/videography for supplementary content on set, in office, or in store.
