Motion Graphics Designer Needed for YouTube, Golf & Brand Content
Hey!
I’m looking for a motion graphics designer to potentially work with me long term across YouTube videos, product reviews, golf content, Shorts, Reels, and branded content.
I already have a video editor, so I am NOT looking for someone to completely edit my videos.
I’m specifically looking for someone who can take an already edited video and add clean, modern, premium motion graphics that help visually explain what I’m talking about.
Style I’m Looking For
Think:
• MKBHD style graphics
• Clean 2D and 3D motion graphics
• Product callouts and feature highlights
• Animated text and typography
• Product photography animations
• Website and UI overlays
• Object tracking when appropriate
• Clean labels, arrows and specifications
• Graphics integrated naturally into footage
• Tasteful transitions between sections
I’ll provide an example of the level and style I’m looking for.
I do not want graphics thrown everywhere just because you can animate something. The goal is to make the content easier to understand and more visually interesting without making it feel overedited.
Clean and intentional beats flashy.
Types of Content
My projects can include:
• YouTube product reviews
• Golf equipment reviews
• Golf course and travel content
• Brand videos
• Product launches
• Shorts and Reels
• Social advertisements
• Commercial style content
I work with a variety of brands throughout the year, so there is potential for consistent work if we find the right person.
How the Workflow Would Work
Most of the time, you would receive an already edited video.
I may also provide:
• Product photography
• Logos and brand assets
• Product specifications
• Website links
• Raw footage if needed
• Reference videos
• Notes for sections where graphics could help
I want you to be able to look at the video and think creatively about where motion graphics would actually improve it, not just wait for me to tell you exactly what to animate.
For example, if I’m explaining a golf club’s technology, a piece of fitness equipment, a product feature, or technical specifications, I want you to think about how we could visually demonstrate that information.
Paid Test Project
I’d like to start with one paid test video.
I’ll send you an edited video along with a motion graphics reference.
Your job will be to show me what you can add to elevate it.
I’m evaluating:
• Motion design ability
• Creativity
• Typography
• Tracking
• Attention to detail
• Ability to match references
• Taste and restraint
• Communication
• Turnaround time
I’m not necessarily looking for someone who copies my reference frame for frame. I want someone who understands why it looks good and can bring their own ideas to my content.
Important
No AI generated graphics or AI generated assets. I’m looking for someone who actually knows motion design and can create the work themselves.
If the test goes well, I’d like to build a long term relationship where you become the person I send videos to whenever they need higher end motion graphics.
When applying, please send me 2 to 3 examples of your best motion graphics work, preferably product, tech, commercial, sports, or YouTube work.
After looking at what I’m trying to accomplish, what would you want to see fro
