We are a fast-growing startup comprised of four companies: A digital marketing agency specialized in retail liquor (alcohol), a SaaS company focused for alcoholic-beverage niche (liquorchat.ai), a high-ticket full-services content agency for any niche, and an AI SEO agency for law firms. Our team works globally and collaborates across all four businesses, offering significant opportunities for learning and growth. This role focuses on developing and editing internal YouTube Shorts and long-form YouTube videos, plus creating engaging motion graphics. You will work closely with our founder to create content that attracts inbound leads.
Position Details
Starting as a part-time role, potentially moving to full-time as we expand. You’ll play an important part in growing our video and motion graphics function. Working hours are flexible within Eastern Time (US), based on your preference.
MUST provide a portfolio with both short and long form video content, plus motion graphics samples.
Foundational to intermediate motion graphics skills are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and animate on-screen graphics: titles, animated text, captions, logo hits, simple charts, and transitions.
- Build a consistent graphics kit: intros, outros, lower thirds, end screens, and reusable templates in After Effects.
Create clear on-screen cues that highlight the hook, steps, and takeaways.
- Set simple style guides for type, icons, color, and export sizes for each platform.
- Cut video with the graphics in mind so timing lands. Add basic sound hits and light compositing when needed.
- Deliver versions for YouTube, Shorts, Reels, and TikTok.
- Check readability, safe areas, brand consistency, and clean exports.
- Work with the production manager and copywriter to script on-screen text and plan where graphics appear.
- Keep projects organized from brief to final file with clean layers and folders.
- Share drafts, take notes, and turn revisions quickly.
- Help find, onboard, and support other motion artists and editors.
Qualifications
- 2+ years editing short- and long-form video in a professional setting
- Portfolio that clearly shows both strong edits and motion graphics work
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro; strong After Effects skills for titles, lower thirds, logo animations, and animated text, Cap Cut, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Canva
- Solid grasp of animation fundamentals: timing, easing, keyframing, masking, and basic tracking
- Ability to build reusable graphics packages and templates
- Basic color correction and audio cleanup within the edit
- Asset prep in Photoshop and Illustrator
- Nice to have: CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or basic 3D/text animation tools
- Strong sense of story and pacing, with clean, organized project files
- Self-directed, dependable, and deadline-oriented
- Up to date on YouTube, Shorts, Reels, and TikTok formats, aspect ratios, and delivery specs
