Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Motion Graphic Designer to join our team. This role involves producing high-quality motion graphics and videos that effectively communicate our innovative technologies and support our marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience creating short-form and long-form videos, with a strong preference for experience in SaaS demo videos and explainer videos. You will play a critical role in developing content for three key projects promoting and pre-selling our new technologies.
Responsibilities:
Video Production:
- Develop motion graphics, animations, and videos for short-form and long-form formats.
- Create engaging SaaS demo videos and explainer videos to showcase our technology.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize video themes, scripts, and storyboards.
Creative Design:
- Ensure all motion graphic content aligns with our brand guidelines and messaging.
- Leverage design software and tools to create visually compelling videos.
- Stay updated on industry trends to innovate and improve video production techniques.
Project Management:
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on video concepts.
- Maintain a library of assets, templates, and design elements for future use.
Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align video content with campaign goals.
- Use videos to promote and pre-sell our new technologies through social media,
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in design tools (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong portfolio showcasing short-form, long-form, SaaS demos, or explainer videos.
- Experience working on technology-focused or SaaS-related projects is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, project management, and creative problem-solving skills.
- 3+ years of experience in motion graphics and video production (preferred but not required).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Video Quality:
- Achieve an average approval rating of 90% or higher from stakeholders on final video outputs.
Timeliness:
- Complete at least 95% of video projects within the agreed timeline.
Engagement:
- Generate a 20% increase in engagement metrics (views, shares, click-throughs) for video content compared to previous campaigns.
Efficiency:
- Optimize project workflows to deliver a minimum of three high-quality videos per month.
Innovation:
- Introduce at least two new motion graphic styles or trends in projects each quarter.
SMART Goals:
Short-term Goal (3 months):
- Deliver three high-quality promotional videos for new technologies, achieving a minimum engagement rate of 15?ross targeted platforms.
Mid-term Goal (6 months):
- Create a video library of at least 10 reusable assets (e.g., transitions, intro templates) to streamline future video production by 20%.
Long-term Goal (12 months):
- Develop a SaaS explainer video campaign that results in a 25% increase in demo requests and customer inquiries.
Creative Development Goal:
- Complete at least one professional development course or certification on emerging motion graphic trends within the first six months.
Collaborative Goal:
- Partner with the marketing team to design and execute a video content calendar, covering at least 15 videos for product launches, demos, and promotions within the year.
