The Company
Matthew Dawe Mortgages is a New Zealand based young and growing mortgage company. We are passionate about helping clients get finance for their dream home, first home or investment property. We take the stress and confusion out of the mortgage process by helping clients get approved, negotiate with lenders & provide financial advice along the way. After a growth period we need someone to help with mortgage processing, support & administration which involves accurately & timely submitting completed applications to lenders via our CRM system and other detail orientated support tasks. We have a team of young, happy, high performers, who are committed to their work and who support each other to succeed.
The Role
We are looking for a gun Loan Processor | Mortgage Support Administrator. You’ll name & collate supporting documents, submit applications to lenders and produce statement of advice documents. Your goal will be to accurately & timely assist the credit manager to help clients get finance to purchase a home whilst providing excellent attention to detail along the way. You will have at least 6-12 months experience in loan processing tasks for a mortgage broker or lender in New Zealand, Australia or the Philippines.
The right person for this role will know how to name documents and pass them over to a credit assessor and submit the completed deal to lenders. You will be able to learn quickly, carefully check your work and follow a process. Your success will enable us to help more clients, by freeing up/ supporting the credit manager, who in turn supports the Financial Adviser/ Mortgage Broker. 12 months+ experience in mortgage lending/mortgage support for a New Zealand or Australian mortgage broker or lender would be ideal. We are after a self-starter who is driven by constant improving & learning as a personal philosophy, has a high attention to detail and takes pride in their work. This role would suit someone who takes the initiative and can follow a system to a successful result.
Requirements
• Experience: Proven 6-12 months experience in loan processing tasks for a mortgage broker or lender in New Zealand, Australia or the Philippines naming, collating supporting documents & submitting applications to lenders
• Understand the elements of mortgages & interest rates
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail: Being able to focus
• Characteristics: You are highly ethical, take accountability & ownership of your work
• Learning & improving as a self-philosophy, being able to ‘dig in’ when the learning/going gets tough to achieve improvement & a well earnt success.
• Ability to follow a process, read checklists & watch videos carefully then implement this learning into completing tasks for clients with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong computer skills: Strong data entry skills are essential
• Highly organised & proficient at multi-tasking.
• Team player ability to work under pressure & prioritise appropriately.
• You are smart, detail orientated, have strong sense of pride/checking work and are able to focus.

• Great pay: 47,000 PHP/month, 40 hours per week, 5am – 2pm PHST (with an hour of breaks, 8 hours worked/day) Monday to Friday. Your afternoons are free by finishing early.
