About Us

Steadfast Rehab is a growing healthcare organization dedicated to providing high-quality rehabilitation services through innovation and compassionate care. We're expanding our digital operations and are looking for a talented Mid-Level Developer to help us build, enhance, and maintain our internal and client-facing platforms.

Position Overview

As a Mid-Level Developer (PRN), you will collaborate with our operations and clinical teams to develop and optimize web applications that support Steadfast Rehab's healthcare services. This is a project-based (as-needed) position ideal for developers who enjoy solving challenges, improving system efficiency, and contributing to impactful healthcare technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and deploy responsive web applications for internal tools and client portals.
Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to enhance existing systems and build new features.
Integrate payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) and authentication systems (OAuth or similar).
Ensure data security, performance, scalability, and compliance within healthcare-related applications.
Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including cloud architecture, deployment strategies, networking, and managed services.
Manage and maintain cloud deployments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Vercel.
Collaborate with other developers using GitHub for version control and CI/CD workflows.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across cloud environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to ensure smooth system operations.
Qualifications
2–4 years of professional development experience (full-stack preferred).
Strong understanding of modern web architecture and software engineering best practices.
Experience working with APIs, third-party integrations, and cloud platforms.
Experience designing and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Compute Engine, or Kubernetes (GKE), is highly preferred.
Ability to work independently on assigned projects with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Prior experience in healthcare technology is preferred but not required.
