JOB OVERVIEW

Salary: 22,000/month during a 3-month probation, increasing to 25,000/month after a successful review.

We are a friendly Australian company specialising in premium personalised artwork and wall art. We have been operating for many years and are looking for a reliable, creative graphic designer to join our long-term team.

This is a part-time, remote position working approximately 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday. We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys creating beautiful designs.

What You'll Be Doing

Your work will include a variety of design tasks, including:

Creating personalised artwork using our existing templates.
Customising maps, star maps, family prints and other personalised products.
Designing new personalised artwork when required.
Adding artwork to lifestyle mock-ups for our websites.
Preparing print-ready files.
Basic photo editing and image manipulation.
Creating simple promotional graphics for websites and social media.
Occasionally designing logos, banners or other marketing materials.
Helping maintain consistent quality across our artwork collections.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone who:

Has at least 2 years' graphic design experience.
Is highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop.
Has good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
Has an excellent eye for layout, typography and colour.
Pays close attention to detail.
Can follow instructions accurately.
Can work independently and manage their time well.
Has a stable internet connection and reliable computer.
Has good written English.

Experience creating print-ready artwork is highly desirable.

Bonus Skills (Not Essential)

Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:

Canva
AI image generation tools
E-commerce product imagery
Print production
Website graphics
Mock-up creation

The trial task will be timed. Before you begin, we'll ask you to let us know exactly when you are starting. Once you've finished, you'll submit your completed files so we can assess both the quality of your work and approximately how long it took you to complete.
