# Meta Video Ads Editor – Fast, Creative & Performance-Focused
We’re looking for a **fast and experienced video editor who understands Meta/Facebook ads and direct-response creatives**.
This is not a role for someone who only makes videos look “nice.” You need to understand **why an ad is structured a certain way**, how to visually communicate a script, and how to keep people watching.
## What we need
You’ll receive a script and available footage/B-roll. Your job is to turn that into a clear, engaging Meta video ad.
You should understand how to:
* Turn a written script into strong visual storytelling
* Match footage to the hook, problem, solution and CTA
* Make the first 1–3 seconds visually strong
* Use B-roll, cuts, text, zooms and pattern interrupts where they actually help
* Make subtitles easy and fast to read
* Show the product at the right moments
* Maintain good pacing throughout the ad
* Understand UGC/direct-response ecommerce ads
The editing should **not be overly fancy**, but it also shouldn’t feel basic or empty.
We want clean, fast-paced ads where **every visual supports the script and helps communicate the message**.
## SPEED IS VERY IMPORTANT
Our target is approximately **45–90 minutes per finished video ad**.
We produce and test a high volume of creatives, so you need to be able to work quickly while maintaining consistent quality.
We value **speed, ad understanding and consistency more than cinematic editing**.
## You’re a good fit if you:
* Have experience editing
* Understand ecommerce and direct-response advertising
* Can visually interpret a script without needing every shot explained
* Know which visuals should be shown to communicate each part of the script
* Can find and use relevant B-roll when needed
* Understand hooks, retention and pacing
* Can work independently
* Communicate clearly
* Can handle a consistent volume of ads
* Are available to **start immediately**
* Are ready to begin working on creatives right away
## What we DON'T want
* Editors who spend 4–6 hours on one simple ad
* Overly cinematic edits
* Excessive transitions or effects
* Random B-roll that doesn’t match the script
* Editors who only follow instructions without thinking about the ad
* Editors who need constant guidance for every visual decision
## To apply
Please send:
1. **3 Meta/ecommerce video ads you personally edited**
2. How long you normally need to edit a **20–45 second UGC/direct-response ad**
3. Your current availability and how many videos you can realistically edit per day
4. Confirm that you are able to **start immediately**
5. Start your application with the word **META** so we know you read the full job post
We’re looking for someone who can become a **consistent long-term part of our creative workflow** and start producing ads immediately.
